I think you failed to mention that it doesn't have horizontal keystone correction and digital zoom control. With horizontal keystone correction, you can only place the project straight ahead. Without digital zoom control, you need to move the projector to adjust for the size you want

We all get used to them but for me personally I always enjoy foreign apps and devices that don't have ads built-in. @ThatGuyFromDamascus Xiaomi is in no way in need of ad revenue to subsidise the cost of the device, they're the third largest consumer tech company in China and they are known for using the cheapest of the cheapest to produce. They put ads in because it is the norm of China, we are saturated with consumerism sometimes I think it is too much as well.

Auto focus is one thing but the auto-keystone is a HUGE feature on this device. It makes all corners sharp regardless of horizontal and vertical inclination. The HDMI lag is decent, but if you try to output audio via bluetooth to a soundbar for example, the sound will be out of sync noticeably. Brightness is some10% more than a "3000lm" LCD FullHD projector from China (120W lamp). Drawing only 65W this xioami is a super green and power efficient device. When you start it up it is almost noiseless. After a while of use over hdmi you can hear the fan ramping up but far less noisy than a regular projector It is the fourth projector I own and the best to date. congrats to xiaomi for this amazing engineering feat. I don't even see the need for a 4k version of this

There are two versions of this projector. A Chinese one that is shown here and a international version that replaces the Mi OS with android TV 9.0 with a different remote with a dedicated Netflix button. You also do not get start up ads with the international version.
Unfortunately the keystone correction is very limited and won't allow you control for smaller walls or spaces. A serious flaw which cannot be overlooked.
To show that the projector is bright enough for a slightly lit room. You can't always dim down a room completely. For example a teacher wants to use this projector in a classroom with many windows or someone wants to project informations in an entry hall.
