I just don't understand the love for her. She never once stood up for her people against a succession of treacherous Governments who between them have brought the UK to the point of complete ruin. I know people always say she wasn't allowed to get involved in politics but I think that is hogwash. She took an oath before God, she could and should have done something. It still was a bit of a shock when she passed away, but one I could see coming. Elizabeth II was truly one of the best modern monarchs, she embodied what it meant to be a royal for over 70 years, she did the Uk a great service. RIP Elizabeth the Magnanimus. Love your documentaries!❤❤🎉🎉
Her reign was a complete and utter disaster for the UK. Either negligently incompetent and/or traitorous. Think about it….She presided over the downfall of the UK. She neglected to use her unparalleled INFLUENCE to steer the UK in the right direction.
I live in South Africa and my grandmother remembers seeing King George, Queen Mother and the princesses when they visited Johannesburg in 1947 God Save The King
She certainly was marvelous. I’m an American but she was still my queen. Because of her I learned all about the monarchy, what an incredible loss. Much love to the queen 💕💕
Thank you 🙏 HMTQ was the greatest, I miss her and Prince Philip , long lives lived. Proud to have served her in the British Army . Her strength was her silence . God Save the the King 👑 ❤
I am 50% British & proud of my heritage. I have always loved reading about British history & Royalty all my life. I first saw her in person at the gate in front of Buckingham Palace in 1975. Later, I met the Queen & her daughter Anne, the Princess Royal, at a historic celebration in Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland. The last time I saw the Queen was a little over 10 years ago at NASA Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt, Maryland while I was working. She looked relaxed and radiant that day. She was beautifully dressed in a bright lime green outfit and hat to match. During her lifetime, she had many accomplishments and was able to break through many barriers and always carried herself with grace and dignity. She truly cared about other people and will not be forgotten. HMQ will be greatly missed, and may she rest in peace.
The subtitle of another video on your channel describes Elizabeth I as "England's Greatest Queen". I personally believe that this honour belongs to Elizabeth II. She juggled being a monarch with being a wife and mother. She encouraged many during WW2 and the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and always led by example. She lived through many differing decades, constantly adapting. She was a woman of great faith. She also did not behead anyone😂
i'm sorry but elizabeth I is better, elizabeth II is still a great queen but at the end of the day she is a constutional monarch with little political power. Elizabeth I on the other had to actually the country, she arguably set britain on the path to being a formidable european power. she eased the tensions between Protestants and catholics in her country. and she did all of this while ruling as a woman in an era where women were considered incapable of ruling.
I’m 64 years old. Queen Elizabeth is the only British monarch I have ever known. There was something secure about that. As the world changed and wars came and went, knowing the queen was still on her throne was reassuring that all will be well. As an American I salute Queen Elizabeth for being the class act she was. And the one constant in a troubled world.
Am I the only one who sees a distinct connnection between her first speech in 1940 and her COVID speech in 2020? she always had talent for being comforter in chief

How fortunate we were to live during her lifetime. Life seems empty without her. She was always there with her regal personality ready to face anything and defeat it. I miss her!
Agreed!! This is Long Overdue and so Bloody What if it shows how despicable the powers that be had a negative impact on Margaret's life. It is a story that needs to be told!
As an American I have followed the royal family since I was little. I remember my dad watching princess Diana’s funeral. I have adored queen Elizabeth and when I got the news her love had passed I was concerned she would pass very soon. Then hearing of her passing was devastating I watched her funeral as well. Seeing her kids grandkids and even great grandkids was so heart breaking. But I know King Charles and prince William along with queen consort Camilla and princess cathrine will do her proud.
This was an outstanding video. Very informative, organized, and well structured. Excellent work. To answer the question: No question she goes down as one of the most remarkable, adaptable, and beloved monarchs.
I DON'T KNOW IF QUEEN ELIZABETH IS RESPONSIBLE 4 ALL THOSE NEGATIVE THINGS. BUT IT'S JUST ABOUT BEING BORN ROYAL( SILVER SPOON AUTOMATIC). THEY OF COURSE WILL ALWAYS B WEALTHY, IT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS. FUNNY I WOULDN'T TRADE PLACES WITH THEM 4 NOTHING N THE WORLD. THEIR LIVES R FULL OF RULES. I'M SURE I COULD NEVER B ROYAL.
She defined what it is to be British. Caring, strong and confident but with keeping it altogether. It’s not I am better than you. It’s in Public you never let anyone sue ur weakness and she never did. She will be missed. She will always be The Queen.

Her Eternal Legacy will Always be that of Becoming The Longest Reigning Monarch in British History !! A woman who Reigned from the early 50s to well into the 21st Century !!! Queen Elizabeth is one of those Exceptional Examples of an Heir who came from a Spare !! Something Exceptionally Rare !!!....
WOW!!! Thank you very much for making these videos. We all knew this day would come and for the past 3-months I have been studying and reading about alll 40 monarchs that have ruled England. Starting with William the II and ending with the late Queen Elizabeth II. I have learned so much more again by watching these videos and doing my own research and it makes me miss England all the most. Me Mum is New Zealand and her sister married a British Airmen and so we go to England on holiday once in a while for reunions. The last being when my cousin Warrick got married in 2017 and we visited Windsor on the weekend. It was absolutely beautiful to see visit the throne where Queen Victoria once sat. These have been absolutely amazing videos and I always love learning about British history and will continue my study when I go to college. Love, An American soldier who loves British history. Peter.!!!!👑
The late Queen Elizabeth II was a true royal and commanded tremendous respect, love and admiration, even from non-western places. She was really popular here in my country, Nigeria, during the era of colonialism and post colonialism. She was so down-to-earth but still had an aura of authority about her. On her first visit to Nigeria, she actually refused any sort of royal convoy for a portion of her trip and instead accepted an invitation from our country's first millionaire (an Igbo businessman) to tour the urban and rural areas in his own personal car. She met with various people (government, tribal chieftains, and local citizens) and when she returned on subsequent visits, we still loved her for her nature. God rest her soul, amen.
She was definitely one of a kind and the end of her reign really equaled the end of an era. I'm a Brit but I wish these documentaries would approach and openly discuss the Kamloops incident. Was it real or not and if it was real, just admit it and put it to rest forever. Other than that, she secured an important place in history and that is a fact. September 8, 2022 was definitely a strange day, in more way than one. May she rest in peace.
From Japan, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is not only the symbol of the UK and the Commonwealth of Nations in post-World War II but also the greatest monarch of modern history. She also contributed to the reconciliation and friendship between the two countries in post-WWII as same constitutional monarchies through interaction between the British royal family and the Japanese imperial family. I require His Majesty King Charles III to inherit his mother's will and carry out the duties entrusted to him diligently from Japan.
What a wonderful documentary. As a Canadian born in 1951, Queen Elizabeth II, is the only British monarch that was a part of my entire life. My mother looked like Queen Elizabeth II which I thought was fabulous. Singing God Save the Queen as a child in school, walking into our small town post office and seeing her portrait on the wall, along with receiving a special letter from her when my parents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, were all a part of my personal experience with her over these seven decades.
I personally believe that she was a Wonderful Woman an outstanding Monarch and a Unique Individual. If others don't agree with me....truly I don't care Thankyou your Majesty 🙏 RIP
She was one of the most loved monarchs in history. It still doesn't feel right without her on the throne. I respected the late Queen and was in awe of her. Until her death in September 8th, 2022, she was the only British monarch I had ever known. At the time I was born, she was on the throne for 14 years. It is hard to look at Buckingham Palace and realize that you won't be able to see her standing on the balcony again.
@BelaDJ1the fact that you think I voted my own comment when I did not lol. Me thinking her comment was cringe does not mean I don't like Elizabeth. Newsflash pea-brain: the two are not mutually exclusive. Stop making assumptions, sweetie, and stay in your lane.
As an Australian she was and remains the most vital public figure of my life time. With perhaps pope John Paul the 2nd being a very distant 2nd. (And no I am not religious, I just recognise the greatness of those who wield influence well.
I am not British, but she was the only Queen I new and admired. I was extremely upset the way the British people spoke about her when Diana died. I thought that her 1st responsibility at that time, were her grandchildren and not the hysterical English public. I was greatly saddened by her death.
I agree with you 💯 I was extremely angry at what the press were saying. The hysterical public wanted William and Harry on display as if they were a circus act! We're now seeing the results of those young boys being put on display. I truly believe that Harry lack of emotional intelligence is a result of this
In retrospect most people here do regret that time and agree that she did do the right thing in the end. I think they were just looking for someone to blame.
She was a monumentally beautiful, courageous, and wonderful queen. Her life was a marvelous paean to obligation and responsibility as she represented her country honorably. That lot who comprised her family of late did not deserve their roles.
Even though I'm American, I was always interested in the Royal Family. I went to see the movie of her Coronation in 1953, and have watch many documentaries of her over and over again. May Queen Elizabeth II R.I.P!
Elizabeth II will remain the ideal model of what a modern monarch can be and the service that they can offer their country. They are not the government, they are the face and spirit of the nation itself. They are above petty political squabbles from the people's theoretical representatives. They are concerned with the long term well being of the country, and they respect tradition and history in a way that most institutions do that. Such is the role of the modern monarch and such was the life of Elizabeth II.
“When life seems hard, the courageous do not lie down and accept defeat; instead, they are all the more determined to struggle for a better future” Elizabeth II
As an American I offer my sympathies to her family, don’t really care for monarchs because of where I’m from but I know she was a staple to some people that need something to look to in difficult times.
Queen Elizabeth's regien was so long that she was already, firmly fixed in history before it ended. Among many features, I will miss her personal testimonies of her Faith in the Lord.
Queen Elizabeth II was an extraordinary women. She had strengths and courage beyond the ordinary. She had the unspeakably difficult responsibilities of serving her country, and the Commonwealth, all the while being a wife and parent. Yes, there are those who simply cannot adapt to this lifestyle or the responsibilities that are incurred by a royal birth of a child. Many a child has been born in similar cases whereby children are sent to prestigious boarding schools at very young ages. These children, I would imagine have a distant relationship with their parents. The Queen loved, and cared for her loved ones. Prince Phillip and she went through the normal stages of a a long lived marriage. They, admired, respected, supported each other through all the ups and downs and most of all depended on and loved one another to the very end. In the history of England, she will be the most beloved Queen of England. Prince William, will be a beloved King as will his wife Princes Catherine, their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louie. Oh what a celebration that will be not only for England but throughout the world!
I miss her greatly. I was born in 1941 when her parents were the monarchs. George VI was a lovely man. We had the only television in our road, packed with weeping neighbours watching his funeral, weeping, on our 9 inch Mullard television. Then the Coronation, which was in black and white. She was, quite honestly, beyond comparison and kept to her promise made when she became Queen. I am one of many who misses her and doubt I'll be around when William and Catherine ascend the throne. She will never be forgotten, her courage and sense of humour were special. Lucky enough to have a long and happy marriage. ❤
I believe she to be an outstanding, dutiful, kind and the absolute right Monarch for the fast changing world in which she , due to events beyond here control, Britain and the Commonwealth. She was an icon and the epitome of soft power ,whom in my opinion, always acted to serve her people. As she noted in her speech at 21, she could " give them her heart" and I believe she did. She was the Queen of the world and I count myself fortunate to have witnessed such a life well lived. Well done Elizabeth R. This world was fortunate and and blessed that the crown , though heavy and life altering for you, landed on the head of the right person to carry it and it's responsibilities for these 70 years. Dr. Stacy Edwards
She has been Queen all my life. I was very saddened by her passing but i think all of us knew she was tired of this life without her husband. She served well. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
I really did admire her Majesty. I’m an American and a small r republican to my very bones. But I think she was a fantastic monarch and I enjoyed watching her speeches on the BBC. She seemed like a rock of stability in times of great strife not just for Britain and the commonwealth, but for us Americans as well. I always felt like she was our aunt in many ways as we share such a close heritage and relationship with our British cousins.
I remember being very impressed listening to her address to the world when she was made Queen! I was just 10 years old. I listened to her on the radio. What touched my heart was her words about serving her country……and God! I loved her then and throughout her reign. May God Bless her soul for all eternity! And all her family…..and country! And Commonwealth!
I loved Queen Elizabeth, she had such dignity and admire her. QVC had a replica of her engagement ring, beautiful ring…I miss seeing her. She was very reachable and a people’s queen..heartbreaking when I heard she passed. ♥️♥️♥️
I’m a Canadian, I admire, appreciate and see our Late Queen as one of our greatest treasures! Our politicians could take massive lessons from her example! Was one of our greatest Queen’s! Her unfailing devotion to her country and people! She has my loyalty and respect!
Queen Elizabeth was mannered in every way. We still love her even though late. A Queen of Britain of Africa and the world over I cried when she died last year Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth rest in Peace.
This wonderful video is so worth the wait! And I'm from the United States!!! King Charles the lll may be the latest, but Queen Elizabeth the Second will Always be the Greatest!!!🌹❤️👸👏👍
really thank you for the amazing video ive been waiting for this one so passionately i will forever miss HM the Queen may she rest in the eternal peace
I think Elizabeth II will be known as the best reigning queen Great Britain ever had she not only adjusted to her own generation, but to multiple generations, that she reined through, and the different policies and changes that the whole country was going through not to mention the world, she was very smart and knew how to adjust I think she will be greater known than Elizabeth I
I have great respect for Elizabeth ii. From the stories I have heard, meeting her was a delight, and she had a very powerful wit and sense of humour. She had tough calls to make and while she made some mistakes (as she’s only human), she was certainly inspiring. I remember the days following her passing as somewhat surreal. Life seemed normal but adjusted in a way that couldn’t be fixed. When I read that she was unwell, I had a very strong suspicion it was the end. My favourite tie to her is the “Thomas the Tank Engine” story Paint Pots and Queens, which was her fictional tour of Sodor shortly after her coronation. I always feel awestruck watching her carriage coming into the station and the energy surrounding it. (Try and) watch it again if you haven’t seen it in a while/at all.
Simply the best one e in a life time Queen magnificent. Gracious kind caring. How many people would get out of their sick bed to appoint a prime minster. Three days later she passed away her like well not see again. RIP Marm at rest with Phillip.

Even weirder they both married men and wait for it…… had children. I know. Mind. Blown.

Even now i get a lump in my throat when I think of her, she was our backbone, almost everyone respected and liked her and the late Prince Philip, what a team 😔🇬🇧
What sad end of their personal lives. Andrew's horrible life decisions. Then Harry and Wallis the second.
I think she was simply MARVELOUS. Elizabeth Regina, the Great.
The late Queen was not Queen of England, she was Queen of the United Kingdom.
i'm sorry but elizabeth I is better, elizabeth II is still a great queen but at the end of the day she is a constutional monarch with little political power. Elizabeth I on the other had to actually the country, she arguably set britain on the path to being a formidable european power. she eased the tensions between Protestants and catholics in her country. and she did all of this while ruling as a woman in an era where women were considered incapable of ruling.
Can't believe she has gone, rest in peace dear queen Elizabeth❤❤❤
I’m 64 years old. Queen Elizabeth is the only British monarch I have ever known. There was something secure about that. As the world changed and wars came and went, knowing the queen was still on her throne was reassuring that all will be well. As an American I salute Queen Elizabeth for being the class act she was. And the one constant in a troubled world.
Am I the only one who sees a distinct connnection between her first speech in 1940 and her COVID speech in 2020? she always had talent for being comforter in chief
Yes..she really did ..an amazing Queen she was ..will be missed so much for her remarkable history of being the longest Queen in history but with all she had to deal with ..her strength made her a very positive 😊 wonderful lady ..may she forever RIP.. 🙏🙏🙏♥️
Nobody will ever replace THE QUEEN ❤ 🎉

How fortunate we were to live during her lifetime. Life seems empty without her. She was always there with her regal personality ready to face anything and defeat it. I miss her!
There will never be anyone like our beautiful late Queen Elizabeth not in my lifetime. ❤
Like many here, despite the family's scandals and effed up individuals...I will always have great respect for the Queen Elizabeth!
I think I commented on the video of George VI that you should do Princess Margaret. I think she was as fascinating as she was polarizing.
I don't hold much with King Charles, but I LOVED my queen!!
@@lorrainearmstrong7587 I believe prince William should take over.

I am not British, but I liked and respected Elizabeth very much!
Even though I am an American, I miss her so very very much.
Even now, I have tears on my cheeks remembering and missing her.
Well technically she would have been your Queen too if history hadn't changed course .
@@tasibho Elizabeth II made it tempting.
From Japan,
Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is not only the symbol of the UK and the Commonwealth of Nations in post-World War II but also the greatest monarch of modern history.
I am curious how Emperor Naruhito is viewed in Japan and also what the role of the Emperor is in Japan nowadays.
If others don't agree with me....truly I don't care
Thankyou your Majesty 🙏 RIP
Very interesting and informative! I love learning more about historical subjects and places!
So good. I need to watch again then I can comment. Great video!! 😊
By the time I was born she was on the throne for 42 years.
We, the Vietnamese university team, pray that the queen would rest in peace 🕊️ her country, United Kingdom, always be in peace 🕊️
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cringe
@BelaDJ1the fact that you think I voted my own comment when I did not lol. Me thinking her comment was cringe does not mean I don't like Elizabeth. Newsflash pea-brain: the two are not mutually exclusive. Stop making assumptions, sweetie, and stay in your lane.
As an Australian she was and remains the most vital public figure of my life time. With perhaps pope John Paul the 2nd being a very distant 2nd. (And no I am not religious, I just recognise the greatness of those who wield influence well.
Both Prince Philip and Princess Elizabeth were honest hearted people.
Did you know that they were family ??
I think she was perfect for all of her years. Rest peacefully Queen.
Excellent documentary ❤. Thank you for the work you put in to present such a comprehensive history of the Windsors 😊!
Indeed ,she is still loved by any Goodwill woman even today.
Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth..
Elizabeth the Great!
What a woman
Of all the documentaries I watched this one is by far the best!
She didn't respect tradition because she supported divorce despite being the head of the church of England.
Strong lady. Well done.many examples to follow. REST IN PEACE.from Mauritius Island
“When life seems hard, the courageous do not lie down and accept defeat; instead, they are all the more determined to struggle for a better future”
Elizabeth II
As an American I offer my sympathies to her family, don’t really care for monarchs because of where I’m from but I know she was a staple to some people that need something to look to in difficult times.
You mean as a European, North America is made of Europeans, Germans , Italians, Brits, swedes etc..
She kept her promise with honor and grace from the beginning to the end.
HONOUR.
This is such an excellent documentary on Queen Elizabeth II.
Extremely well done.
Queen Elizabeth, II, is going down in history as one of the greats. I admired her so very much.
Loved her comedy skits she did with James Bond and then with Paddington Bear
Thanks❤
Thank you!
Been biting my nails all week since she was announced. I see why it took so long.. job well done men.
I’d hope they have some women working in the team as well
She has been Queen all my life. I was very saddened by her passing but i think all of us knew she was tired of this life without her husband. She served well. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
Bet non of the royal will be sad of you or your families passing
I really did admire her Majesty. I’m an American and a small r republican to my very bones. But I think she was a fantastic monarch and I enjoyed watching her speeches on the BBC. She seemed like a rock of stability in times of great strife not just for Britain and the commonwealth, but for us Americans as well. I always felt like she was our aunt in many ways as we share such a close heritage and relationship with our British cousins.
Yes... The greatest monarch ever, Elizabeth was!!! Thank you very much for this amazing information!!
What did she do that made her the greatest ever? She was a figurehead who had no power and did everything her handlers told her.
Im an American woman and there is no one I admire more than Queen Elizabeth II. She was an earthly treasure.
She was simply brilliant.
Let us not take ourselves too seriously.
None of us has a monopoly on a wisdom.
-Queen Elizabeth 👑
I’m a Canadian, I admire, appreciate and see our Late Queen as one of our greatest treasures! Our politicians could take massive lessons from her example! Was one of our greatest Queen’s! Her unfailing devotion to her country and people! She has my loyalty and respect!
She made me proud to be British 🇬🇧👑
Queen Elizabeth was mannered in every way.
We still love her even though late.
A Queen of Britain of Africa and the world over
I cried when she died last year

This wonderful video is so worth the wait! And I'm from the United States!!! King Charles the lll may be the latest, but Queen Elizabeth the Second will Always be the Greatest!!!🌹❤️👸👏👍
Great documentary. Thank you for posting.
I think she’s the human Queen that the world really knows about!
HM was my Colonel-in-chief and my Queen. I'll always miss her.
really thank you for the amazing video ive been waiting for this one so passionately i will forever miss HM the Queen may she rest in the eternal peace
Prince George looks like Her Majesty
RIP Your Majesty 👸
God Rest The Queen 🇬🇧
Three cheers for this intelligent, comprehensive overview of Elizabeth ii's life. She was in a class by herself.
Simply the best one e in a life time Queen magnificent. Gracious kind caring. How many people would get out of their sick bed to appoint a prime minster. Three days later she passed away her like well not see again.
RIP Marm at rest with Phillip.
