The video is mixed Japanese forest and Korean machine house system. I saw Korean words in the newspaper, on their clothes, and the package, but they are explaining it is like in Japan. It’s a great video but please watch it with clear eyes.

Is the wood reused, you know new holes put in different areas of the wood to previous ones, or do more trees have to be cut down for new mushrooms? It would be economical if the wood was reused, as I doubt there are enough trees to keep this process going indefinitely, even though it's been going for years.
Yes I like mushrooms, not sure i have tried shiitake ones, although that will change.
    Interesting video.

Great question! The process of cultivating shiitake mushrooms often involves reusing wood, as it can be economical and sustainable. It's fascinating how nature works, isn't it?

Japanese shiitake mushrooms are rich in protein, vitamins (B2, B3, B5, D), and minerals (selenium, copper, zinc). They contain high fiber and antioxidants, supporting digestion, boosting the immune system, and protecting cells. This nutritious food offers numerous health benefits.
