Robert, I just turned 70 years old. Discovered this past December that I absolutely love guitar. I fully enjoy the styles you play. My current and first guitar is a Squire Vibe 70's electric. I absolutely love the Squire hollow body you were playing. Love the blues. Your love for music really shines.

Salesman at a famous Chicago Music shop handed me one of these, I had no intention of buying a Squier. After playing it for a while and he told me the price brand new was below 400 bucks had to get it. So much fun to play it has great action nice thin fender neck great tones. Can take it to an open mic and not worry about it. Win win.....

My favorite guitar solo of all time is the solo from Since I’ve Been Loving You by Led Zeppelin. From the opening solo, I love the buildup of the song and then Jimmy Page just blows you out of your seat with the intensity of the solo. I really started taking my guitar playing seriously the moment I heard his solo!

A lot of people say Luther Perkins was the biggest reason Johnny Cash was successful but I beg to differ. A lot of entertainers from different genres made names and money from his contributions. Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley and so on.
I know it is an instrumental song, but the solo of the “Wolf Song” from the Steve Morse Band is glorious. You should ALL listen to it!! Also, the solo from Dream Theater”s Barstool Warrior is incredible.
