I tried to show in this video the easiest way to make your own texture artwork.
Read the description and ask me your questions if something is not clear.
Materials:
✔️Canvas
✔️Wood glue
✔️Plaster
✔️Acrylic paint
✔️Fabric:
I used an old cotton sheet but you can use any kind of fabric you like, just choose one that doesn’t transfer color.
If you choose to paint the wall art a light color, I recommend using white Fabric.
✔️water
✔️sandpaper

Hi, I'm fascinated by your fabric texture art tutorials! Could you share some tips on how to determine the amount of fabric needed for a project? Is there a general rule of thumb or a way to calculate the fabric requirements based on the canvas size? I'd love to understand your approach to measuring and preparing fabric for your art pieces. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

Awesome video, thank you so much! It came our so beautifully! I wonder if I can do this with a much larger canvas.. what was the ratio of water and wood glue you used? Thanks again! :)
Thank you dear. Yes you can go as large as you want. Water and glue ratio by weight 1:1
I would say
It's just awesome.... thanks to share it with us.

I want to try this but can it be done with a sheer fabric that has color? Is there a ratio of water wood glue mixture? Thanks
Wooden modpodge or regular glue work as well as wood glue?
Awesome 👏🏾
Hi! If your using a 40x60 canvas how much water to glue ratio would you use? I’d love to try this on my big canvas in black😍

Thanks a lot 😊
It’s beautiful indeed. Is it gypsum or plaster of Paris?
Hi, what’s the ratio or glue to water please?
You are my hero!!!! I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this? So is the Plaster of Paris for longevity purposes? Is it needed?
hey it looks amazing! 💗could you tell what kind of fabric you used?🙌🏼
Thanks dear. I used an old sheet 😅 it can be anything. For the black one I showed it the beginning, I used velvet fabric 😀
Why wood glue, can you not use white glue mixed with water? Can you paint over this with acrylics? I want to try this but see so mny different options out there for videos.
I actually made this for hall at. I used pillow cases .drying no I'll send pictures latet
If we add acylaric on wood glue will the color stay?
This one's so cool mam 🤩🤩😍😍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏 mam I have an doubt ...what if I submerge the same texture in resin ? Will I able to see the wavy texture of cloth in resin ?? ... I would like to share the image in your insta dm like how I'm expecting ...can u pls help me to get that texture plsssssssssssssss
Of course you can and you will definitely see the wrinkles. Actually if you find a beautiful fabric, you can just dip it in resin and let it dry on your Base, it will looks amazing!
Well done thank you
Lovely! Did you start with a round canvas? Have you ever tried using more than one color on one of these?
I hope you've watched the whole video. I showed one of my rectangular works in another colour at the beginning of this video and there are many more on my instagram. thank you
Very nice work well explained but the music is beyond to much loud and covers your voice too… sorry to tell tht
What did u mix in fabric water and glue???
Can we use regular white glue or mod podge instead of wood glue? Can you please answer this question, since it has come up numerous times. Thank you.
Use Elmer’s Glue-All. There are many types of glue. But Glue-All is what you want to use.
Fabric material
Супер идея.
Hello, is there any chance for it to start cracking ? 😊
hey, yes if you add too much water to the paste.
Thank you 💗
You’re welcome 😊
This is a great tutorial, thank you. What would you use to varnish this?
Thank you dear ☺️ I used water based spray varnish for this piece, you can choose a gloss, matt or satin varnish 😊
I loved 🥰.. May I ask ..What is the name of the fabric??
سلام برای ساختن جاعودی که خوب حجم بگیره چه وسایلی مورد نیازه؟
Hi incredeblae work
Do you yoy varinsh at the end?
Or do you prefer matt texture?
Hi dear, Thank you. yes I varnished it with water-based Spray varnish and used satin varnish for this one.
Can I just use the second mixture and submerge the fabric in that one? Will I have the same result? Please I need advise , because in my mind the plaster since the beginning mixed with glue water and acrylic paint will avoid one step ..but I have no idea
Hey dear, I would not recommend to submerge the fabric in the paste but you can skip the first step and start applying the paste on your fabric on the canvas, you will get different result but it will work
So you don't have to prime after sanding and before painting??
not necessarily
WOW!!! 😍TFS! 😉
Thanks for watching!
is the wood glue liquid or powdery
very nice ❤️❤️
چه پارچه ای بهتره استفاده بشه برای این کار؟
Que sustancias usas para endurecer la tela? Gracias
Can Powertex holdup for outdoor use?
Hi what’s the plaster mixture recipe? X
👏👏👏
This is so beautiful! I would like to know how you made the one that you have in your hands, with the flowers, thank you!
Thank you dear, I have a short video of that piece on my Instagram @parisaartdesigns
Can we use normal glue instead of wood glue?
do you have the answer ?
How to clean dust on this
With a swiffer
How did you sand the sheet part? What did you use to get in between the ruffles?
I used smaller pieces of sandpaper. to get better result try wet sanding
Hey, love ur artwork. Do u think i could replace the canvas with tiles?
Thanks dear. Tile is slippery and fabric will not stick to it
Which fabric we can use for this
cotton
Can I do this on mdf wood?❤
yes sure!
Can you varnish these after?? And or pour resin over them?
I varnished with water based spray varnish. But if you want to use resin, you can even dip into Resin instead of water and glue and let it dry
@@parisaartdesign thank you so much for the information
How many layer you coated in canvas
I guess 3 or 4
@@parisaartdesign thank you
