- I test the GT Shine Quick Ceramic Detailing Spray & Quick Buffing Towels!
The awesome folks over at GT Shine were super cool and asked me to product test their highly innovative products!

As a weathered detailer, I have played with all kinds of sealants and indeed it is clear that ceramics have risen to the point of being far beyond traditional waxes and older sealants, providing easier application as well as far better durability, hydrophobics and gloss.
The main issue that regular ceramic coatings have is that they can be a bit daunting to do at home so most people either avoid or spend loads to get a professional application - GT Shine has come to the rescue with a super high grade ceramic coating that is super easy to apply and quick too!
Being a liquid spray means that the application is going to be much quicker and easier than traditional products like hard or paste waxes and ceramics but should provide us with amazing results none the less, as you will see!
I firstly get the car cleaned down, using the usual process that I have shown in previous videos so to see this process in more detail, check out one of those - I will put a link below!

Long story short, the process is pre-wash to loosen larger dirt and grime followed by the two bucket method contact wash before rinsing off and drying.
I then get to move on to the GT Shine products, although I do jump in before drying to show an alternative application method!
Application is super simple - a few sprays onto a panel or microfiber and then wipe the product on.
After a couple of minutes, buff off with a separate clean microfiber and you will reveal an epic shine - that is it!
Full cure takes approximately 24 hours and you but as I show, protection is immediate (you should allow cure time though to get maximum protection to go along with the epic gloss!)
Convenient and versatile in how it can be used - as a base coat or as a top up layer - you also don't use much product so can layer up after every wash if you want to!
I show this process as well as doing a couple of hydrophobics tests, before and after, to show the product really working!
I am very impressed with the GT Shine products as they simply do exactly what they say, and I am sure you will be too after watching this video - the results really speak for themselves on my MK3 Ford Focus RS - the nitrous blue sparkle paint really pops with incredible shine and warmth of gloss!

good job. still happy with the REVO wheels? at 10 kilo they are very tempting to buy for my RS from a performance enhancement perspective. They seem robust enough for all kind of roads.

Any tips apart from gorilla tape for the crap door rubber seals coming off. Very poor from ford
Mine haven't been affected yet but I've seen them stuck back on successfully with simple super glue
