- The British Medical Association has called on Tory donor Frank Hester to resign from his health tech firm TPP, over his alleged comments that the MP Diane Abbott made him "want to hate all black women" and "should be shot".

The Conservatives are under new pressure after reports Mr Hester has donated another five million pounds - which has not been denied by the party - but doesn't need to be officially declared until June. But the racism row is also raising difficult questions for Labour.

Imagine how this would have played out if he made the comments about a Jewish member of Government..and then the speaker ignored the person...imagine the reaction of the Government...they would give him back his money immediately...hypocrisy knows no ends with Sunak and the bigots.
Why the necessity to return the money? It's like some bizarre religious fanaticism to demand the money be returned. So, return £10m to a racist? If the Tory party itself is not rasssist, what is the problem with keeping the money? Accepting donations from people doesn't mean you necessarily agree with everything they have ever said. I'm afraid this is simply pure party politics, sour grapes, and Labour wish it had £10m - instead they are broke.

Hester's remarks - while objectionable - were made in a private meeting three years ago. If he really wanted to shoot Abbott he's been a bit lazy about it. Labour politicians have also used violent language towards government ministers. I agree it should all stop.

It appears that a lot of white individuals harbor animosity towards Ms. Abbott because of her advocacy for equality, which encompasses the rights of Black people. I am grateful to Ms. Abbott for her unwavering support of Black communities who still face injustices reminiscent of past eras, even in modern Britain of 2024. The statement appears to be hate speech, and individuals who identify as Black have the option to file a formal complaint with the Metropolitan Police against the man. It’s not about black people or the black vote. All minorities in this country have watched their government divide the nation and use them as scapegoats for their own failings. It’s not just black people who face all this in their professional life, it’s every minority.
Of course, they are merely a tool to distract the majority from the cumulative failures of Tory ideology.
I've plastered it all over the internet by now that the government was pissing away public money on the Rwandan deportation scheme and desperately attempting to shift public attention onto migration, trans issues or whoever they could find to victimise in order to divide people.

Well, that's a tricky one since white, so called Christians make for a good percentage of the Tory party, which as anyone should know is the most successful political party in the history of democracy in Britain.
I say so called, because it's oh so very clear that the majority have either not read the teachings of Jesus and the bible, or have been highly selective of which bits they follow.
