- Best place to stay in North Lake Tahoe? We think we found a place!
When planning a trip to Lake Tahoe, it can be daunting in trying to find the perfect place. Is the place on the lake? Is there a long walk to the beach? Is it reasonably priced? Where do I want to stay? South Lake Tahoe or North Lake Tahoe?
Your time is valuable and this ONE trip may be your only trip to Lake Tahoe for some time. We are very fortunate to live only 2 hours away, but most are not as lucky.
We have other videos on Lake Tahoe, and over these past few years, we have stayed a few places, and all the places have their own charm, some with better amenities than others, but there is one common amenity, it's Lake TAHOE! Enjoy!
This stay was very affordable! It was only $140 per night, and we stayed just before Memorial Day Weekend, 2022. We left on Friday of that weekend before it got crowded. We really enjoyed our stay, and we hope you do to!

Those cabins are so cute, and I never stopped at Moon Dunes Beach before. I've also never walked that meadow, either. Fun to see what that's like! I don't know how I missed this video... Happy belated birthday!!!

Great video we are staying in Lake Tahoe in June my first 5 places were booked but we found a spot in the south we will be visiting for 4 days so we will still drive around and explore. We will go through and find other videos of yours and get more ideas from you. So excited to visit looks so nice rustic lodges are so nice.
Ahh, nice! Have you guys been to Tahoe before?? I would be curious to know what spot you chose? The #1 "to do" when visiting, is going to Sand Harbor! To me, and many others, is the most beautiful spot. I have a video on Sand Harbor which I would highly suggest! (It took time, but, I finally have been receiving a number of views on it).
@@SippyCupAdventures this will be our first visit. My first t places I wanted to stay were already booked and they were close to sand harbor. We are going to stay at Tahoe valley campground but travel all around the lake. I was already planning on watching your video. Any tips are appreciated we will also be staying in Reno a couple days and a stop or two along the way from Oregon.
@@justramblinaround Ah. I looked up your camping spot, you're right by the "fork," a good place to start your journey around the lake. Ski Run Marina may have the most inventory of boat rentals....Red Hut Cafe for breakfast (there are two of them on the South Shore, one bigger than the other) Fire Sign Cafe in Tahoe City for lunch, and Old Range Steakhouse in Tahoe City for dinner (directly across the lake from your stay) to get a NICE ribeye (and add the mushrooms)! The sailboat we rented was from a private owner on the "Get My Boat" app. Finally, we once rented e-bikes from Flume Trail Bikes in Incline Village and rode to Sand Harbor. It could be a way to go being that SH gets very busy and will close early to vehicular traffic, but you can always bike there. You can grab a bite to eat at SH if you don't want to pack a lunch.

We are actually bringing our ebikes we had them in our very first video and we have been thinking about talking about them we got the folding lectric bikes 2.0 from a year and a half ago and we love them and I saw that area by truckee has like a long vlbike trail people recommend sonwenare excited to bike around. Thanks for all the info we are excited. Don't know if we told you we are gonna donancouple nights in Remo before Tahoe too! Are you guys coming up to the Gorge this year?
@@justramblinaround yes! Our music event is July 21-23. We're not making a 14-day road-trip out of it, like we have in the past, most likely. We have an RV rented to be dropped. Then, we hope to stay two nights after the event at Sagecliffe/Cave B before we head home.

Yeah, Paul. Was really a nice, quiet, and inexpensive find for sure. A little "hike" 😀Yeah, got some new transitions. Really loving Motion Array. A number of transitions/titles/generators that I will most likely only use once after I download them, then delete them to save room on my hard drive lol!
@@SippyCupAdventures lol. My computer is awesome but the 1 flaw I didn't think of... hard drive space. I know what you mean. I have a ton of external hard drives now 🤣. My HD is only 256gb! I'm having to juggle a lot and get creative. This place looks very worth it! Great find!
