I used to call myself a leftist, but then the well was poisoned by a bunch of exclusionary poison and suddenly it wasn't about helping humanity as a whole progress but rather just about switching who had the privilege to sh!t on everybody else. Look at the terminology they use and you'll understand why "men built this society" it's yet another example of avoiding looking at people as individuals and dehumanizing them. Just the other day I saw someone justify suicide booths cause "society can't take care of everyone". Dehumanization to the point wholesale death is seen as good

Guy here, just wanted to say thank you for saying your piece about both men and women here.
I grew up in a toxic household, especially after my parents divorced...once that happened and my dad moved out, a lot of things I'd dealt with at home got a lot worse for me. I was constantly having my buttons pushed to the point that I got angry, just so there was justification for punishment. And my sister made things worse by jumping in when she had nothing to do with anything going on, so I was getting ganged up on.
That could have easily turned me into what those women think men are, but it didn't. And then that garbage started happening everywhere, and it made me paranoid for a while, wondering if some small good deed would set someone off or something.
But with people like Shoe making these videos and folks like you helping to spread the message, I know I'm not alone in thinking this is nutter butters. So thank you.
TL;DR: Thank you for being awesome, be the first from Mythos to take my subscription.
EDIT: To be fair about the rampant Main Character Syndrome, I remember hearing "You're the main character of your own story" a few times while growing up. I doubt I was the only one being told this, and I'm sure more than a handful stopped listening after "You're the main character," but the line should probably be rephrased to put explicit emphasis on two important things: the best main characters get help from those around them, and by extension it's important that one can recognize when they need to be a good supporting character in someone else's story. Only a Mary Sue/Gary Stu needs no help and is the center of the universe. And nobody likes a Mary Sue/Gary Stu.

I honestly don’t know what to say man. I read through the entire thing, I really hope you have a better life now. “Life’s a bitch and so am I” is what one of my friends said. So if life closes a door on you, open it again. We all suffer, some more than others. (I definitely don’t suffer). But I hope my message can help you suffer less.
You are loved, even if people don’t outright say it.

@Occyugqi Thank you for that. Things are mostly better now, thankfully. Had another rough patch over the last few years that started turning around about...two years back now, if memory serves.
I've still got a long way to go to dig myself out from a lot of what happened, but I'm well on the way. And, while I wasn't planning on the one dog becoming a herd of four, I wouldn't have it any other way. They're my emotional support herd.
I just hope sharing a bit of my past can help others realize that there's always a reason to keep fighting, to push through the rough times. My dad used to say something similar to the quote you shared: "If you want to make it in the world today, even if you're the nicest person on Earth, you've got to have a 2-inch stripe of pure rat bastard running down your spine." Just another way of saying you have to stand up for yourself, but the word choice is unique to say the least. :P
Thank you again for your kind words.

My brother and I know what it's like to be the children in a divorce. It's horrible. Especially when the parents use you as psychological warfare for the other. I no longer have any relationship with my mother because of how she used us against my dad, and especially with how she treated me.
I'm glad you're doing 'better' now, and I hope you have friends, family and/or a loved one to lean on when things get rough again.

@@tekgeekster Dear God, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I am doing better now, and I hope you are too.
I will say though, part of why and how I'm doing better is a combination of distance and having a plan of action.
When I went off to college, I only looked at schools several hours away at minimum. And for the most part, the physical, geographical distance actually helps improve relations with my mother. But when we're in the same place, all bets are off...hence the plan of action. A series of steps I can take, depending on the situation, to try and de-escalate anything my mother tries to start, or just give her no room to keep the drama going. She knows how to push my buttons, so it doesn't always work, but it's the best I've got.
I've actually got a couple new things I'm adding to it now. Gonna be going to a wedding later this year, so I'm trying to make sure I can just instantly shut down anything she tries to start. Here's to hoping it works...

I'm a late Millennial/early Gen Z. I think my own life experiences can shed some light on the entire situation. I am a perfectly average guy with less than anything going for him. When I was in middle school the hottest girl in the grade asked me out, I said no (thought it must be a prank, turned out she was genuine, poor girl). In high school i had several girls crushing on me meanwhile I thought that couldn't possibly be the reason they were behaving that way. All of them were the typical cute nerdy girl type. Mysteriously, however, the attention from undamaged, unbroken, attractive women stopped, suddenly, like somebody had flipped a switch, when i turned 17. That was around the time when dating apps were starting to get big and I started hearing people talk about them around school.
I originally thought this happened because I "fell off" in attractiveness as I got older, now with all of the testimonies from other guys younger than me are giving, it's not hard to see what's really going on.

Seen this one in action, back in colege.
Near the end of the second year of colege and after I shot my shot and got quite brutally denied, I explained to a friend that she was clearly flirting with several of her guy friends, including me (note: I only witnessed her flirting with the others after I fell for her, it was already too late to abort dem feels at the age I was at).
She was adamant she wasn't flirting... when she got in our laps, touched us all over, did that cute blinking thing women do, and fell asleep on us multiple times after drinking too much (in my case we even went out, just the two of us, several times). She was convinced it was just her 'being one of the guys'.
Needless to say she was _shocked_ when ALL of her other guy friends also tried their luck before the end of the year. I didn't pass up the opportunity to remind her that I did, in fact, warn her well in advance to cut that shit out if she didn't have serious intentions. By the end of the year, literally every other guy from that friend-group was so annoyed with her and/or hurt emotionally that they all stopped talking to her.
I was too forgiving and continued sporadically talking with her until, years later, she properly pissed me off with a job-related task I entrusted her with that she couldn't be bothered to do on time.

Honestly I think one of the reasons why there was such backlash is because of simple guilty conscience and instinctive denial of doing something wrong.
Which is kind of the go-to response for very immature people with no sense of responsibility or accountability.
Women and how they treat men ARE part of the problems men face. There's no way around that.
Especially since mistreatment of men and outright misandry have been incorporated into systems, institutions and the general western women's culture.
It's not only considered okay to attack, belittle and dehumanize men; to some degree women expect it of other women.
And while I would like to say that, as it is with men who abuse women, the women who abuse men are just a disappearingly small percentage of men (comparable to and even smaller a number than the small number of men who commit crime) the evidence speak for itself.
Women en masse mistreat men. A majority of them turn a blind eye to obvious abuse of men.
And a large minority commit said abuse.
Now, some women like to point toward global statistics and say that those are representative of all men in general and western men in particular.
Which is utterly ridiculous. The difference culturally between western men and the rest of the world is so stark it may as well be a different planet.
Western men do not, as a general cultural phenomenon, mistreat or abuse women.
There are some criminals who do, but those are just about the exact same number as women who r*pe and sexually abuse others.
And more of those men face justice than the same amount of criminal women do.
Many times women who criminally abuse get at best a slap on the wrist for their crimes.
However, walk down the street in India or Pakistan or Nigeria as a western woman wearing the usual yoga pants and dishrag-for-a-top that western women wear with next to no consequence in the west and you'll see how fast her stroll turns into a nightmare. Often with lethal outcome.
The commonplace incidents of western female tourists getting brutally r*ped and murdered in the third world should tell you everything you need to know.
Compare that to how many female tourists travelling to western countries end up the same way.
Unless they've been staying in the shadiest neighbourhoods possible, it never happens.
And rarely happens if they did.

That is a reason another is that people don’t like to admit they are part of a problem and when the problem is brought to attention they do things as featured in the video and then when young girls see those comments and TikTok’s they see the amount of women saying this stuff and agree with them because there are a ton of women saying that so they must be right over a video or anything else that brings attention to the problem.

That's because that's not politics, that's demagogue behavior, absolutists are the worst because they don't understand what politics even is, they see a hill, pick it and die on it without understanding how and why. Politics is the discussion of systems of governance and how we humans set an order for ourselves, but the big majority don't really understand that and just see evil in disagreement and that's why political and religious talks for that matter sucks, because people don't actually want to discuss the nuances of those complicated topics, they wanna be dogmatic and insult those who ain't like them.

I would love to see Hades Mythos go down the rabbit hole on the Badger Live Streams UA-cam channel! The one titled "Women can't compete with AI girlfriends" is hilarious. Allison, the community leader, got so pissed off at how abusive this woman is towards men, she goes on multiple rants. @@DarkVeghetta their content has been pretty great lately. Definitely a step above what they've made in the past. Their new content is on Badger Streams Live under the Live tab. They've been playing around with new OBS's and stuff and trying other new things though, so there's been a lot of adjustments and technical difficulties. But it's a good thing, because they're evolving and using newer stuff now. So it's going to be a learning process for a little while. They tried Riverside but it didn't work out and now they're using something else now. I wish they had the money for more professional studios, but very few people donate to their cause. I really wish that would change. They are the best talk show I've ever seen on UA-cam, and they actually understand what's causing all the problems in our society right now. Very few people can say the same. When I listen to what they have to say, I suddenly realize how wrong all these other creators are how they're actually causing harm. That's why I wish they'd familiarize themselves with the honey badgers content. Then they'd start to understand and start spreading awareness and information that would help, instead of harm. Yes, honey badgers are wrong about a few things, so I don't always completely agree with them, but All of the really important stuff they're right about.
I'll give you an example of how this creator is wrong about just one thing. This is not an issue of one problem not canceling the other out, and two problems can exist at the same time. The problems that women think they have, are a bold face lie, coming out of feminist academia controlled institutions that are biased towards women. They put out all of these studies and statistics that are completely biased and untrue. It hurts both men and women, invalidating the actual problems of both. It's really messed up and it needs to stop. And the people who are doing this, who are in charge of this, are the richest most powerful people at the top influencing all of these institutions and funding them, pumping out all these people that are dealing this. In actuality, women have tons of safety nets, programs, and services for them, while men have almost nothing at all. Society is damaging women by teaching them not to have agency or accountability.

That's a dumb thing that is parodying how supposedly many years ago a woman was told to smile more, and articles were written on how terrible that was to say/do. Idiots saying that are referencing that old story. Genuinely surprised they're still bitter more than half a decade later...

    I'll say this. 3:10
Most men say women aren't funny, because they try to make themselves laugh by making themselves feel better and more powerful.
Men are funny because they know what's funny About them. Because they've been laughed at their whole lives.
They know what makes Other people laugh.
Women internalize that aspect and instead of taking the same stance. They reflect it, and Mock the original humor.
Clarification:(because I know someone needs this for some reason)
I never said Men are funny by default. I never said Women Can't be funny by default. I described why the men that Are funny, are funny. And why the women that Aren't funny, are not funny

Honestly, I hate when someone tries to pull a "Statistic" about the "general public" as their excuse...
That one comment about "1 out of 6 women are victimized"... not only does it instantly say it's not the majority, but also those numbers aren't to exact scale. cause I'm pretty sure that study wouldn't ask literally every female in the world even if it was possible. That, and I'm pretty sure the numbers would be lower.
That's not to say it doesn't happen, but I'm sure it's based solely on a "sample size" that doesn't include everyone. The only statistics that even remotely believable is basically a Census cause it gives a better estimate of how many people are out there. And it circumvents the previous defense i brought up too. cause i doubt 1 out of 6 women truly are victimized when there's over 8 billion people and they likely didn't even survey 1 million.

On the mental health discussion around 17 minutes in I think it's important to note that getting diagnosed often starts as self diagnosis, you have to think "huh maybe I have something like this or that bc the more I hear about it the more I relate" to prompt going to experts to get tested. You just can't assert that you have it when you're not actually diagnosed
