Hi Phil, you really should start another YT channel for the reviews of all the non wood turning/woodshop related items you keep putting on your channel, just a thought.
It doesn't work that way, Neil. I wish it did, though. They are always very specific that it goes on this channel. They like my number of subscribers and the views I get. If I start a new channel, I would have nothing. I hope you will bare with me. These review videos are not my main focus, don't come too often and do not replace my weekly Thursday turning videos. They are just extras. They really take nothing away from what I prefer to do. It's just a simple matter of, if the title says Not Wood Turning, don't watch. 😊
Eyup Phil. Temu are doing a similar one. It still sits around your neck and cools you down. Theyre brilliant for cooling and keeping your mask from condensation when turning weve bought a couple. Hope you're well Phil take care and stay safe.
Looks great Phil. I have a similar one which I take to my markets in the summer as believe it or not we do sometimes get hot weather hear LOL. It is one of the best things I have bought. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
2:48 these devices are actively cooled by peltier plates. The plates are attached to the aluminum fins and the fans blow across the fins no matter what mode you have them in.
Nice fan, although a bit on the pricey side. I just came in from the garage where I was working on a new bowl from Chinese Pistache wood. It’s cooled down significantly today it’s only 103° so far today. Due to the heat and my sweat I had wood dust covering my chest that had actually penetrated through the fabric of my shirt. I’m wondering if the wood dust from turning and sanding is going to get inside of the unit and plug it up. Maybe compressed air could be used blow it out but I would think it would be likely to over speed the fan wheel in the process. Any ideas on how to keep it clean from wood dust?
Good morning 🌅, Phil you are one cool 😎 dude,😂😂, it looks great peace ☮️ of kit, and it should be for the price, it reminds me of some of these sci-fi films, when they catch somebody, they put a neck restraint on, and if they try to take it off, you can guess what happens, Necklace, 😂, On my bike, it as past its controlled techniques test, And now all paperwork has been finished and has been sent in to register the bike for a new numberplate, I’ve done approximately 100 miles the other day, on my HOG , IT WAS GREAT BEING OUT, being free, Stay safe stay cool to dude , 😂, and I caught a glimpse so that quad bike in the background, looks like a nice bit of kit, Look forward to the wood toning project tomorrow, France.

Drove down to CA last weekend to visit kids and get guess what... WOOD. Probably could have used this at 113° one day. But kids are kids and wood is wood.😂. Motel had a nice pool though so i can't complain.

Phil for the coolify 3 and cyber there's an app. And these 2 models can run while plugged in home or a power bank.
Thanks for the info. 😊 I mentioned the app in the review. No idea why it wants location permissions. I don't use it but, yeah, it's available.
Yes and you can save your favorite settings for fan/cool or heat.
All these years I’ve known you and I’ve just realised why you are shady acres. D’oh! That’s a nice piece of kit, as is the vehicle you have in the background 🌞
