pretty sure england released nations because france told them too in the peace deal. Like you said taking back cores was only 7% so they had to do other things.
Video idea: Eu4 but India is like the HRE. (Week 4) Vijayanagar = Austria Mewar = Brandenburg Orrisa = Saxony Bahmanis = Bohemia Gond/Garjati states = Hanseatic League Gujarat = Burgundy Malwa = Palatinate Rajput/Gugrati/Malayam minors = HRE minors Delhi/Sirhind = Bavaria Bengal = Teutonic Order Janpur = Wolgast Sikh = Protestant Jainism = Hussite Hinduism = Catholic (This wouldn’t be a switch though, just bringing hre mechanics to India)
2:49 on recent patches (origins iirc), nations really like to release nations with extra war score whenever they can’t take land. This happens a lot to england, so they have to pop out meade or manx typically
@@babelfisk1870 Nope, if you pay attention to when he was talking on Scotland been fully occupied - England's continental possessions were occupied by France in the same war, so when England fully annexed Scots, France did the same with England nonproper and made them release these nations for extra score.
Chewy: OK you've got max admin efficiency, go ham. Korea: Nah, I'm good. We need to figure out what combination of modifiers that will actually make AI Korea expand. Then we also need a giga-Finland so we can recreate the Finno-Korean Hyperwar.
An idea I had: EU4 but revolutions fire and/or succeed instantly. Basically, instead of unrest ticking up towards a rebellion, they are triggered as soon as they have any unrest. OR: As soon as a rebel stack occupies a province, they *instantly* enforce their demands, no matter how much they would normally need. If you want extra chaos, combine both.
Alencon is spawned by an event after you win the 100 years war as France. For Meath and Mann, France frequently adds releasing them onto a peace deal against England in the 100 years war if they have enough war score to take all of the provinces they want.
@@Chewbert Yeah lmao. I love mods which add huge border changes, since cos I have a garbage PC, I can only play until 1550 before things start lagging out, so I use mods which allow for big territory transfers a lot haha
AI sucks at managing Government Capacity, hence they release random nations. You should try giving every nation 100% Admin Efficiency and like +5000 Government Capacity. It'd be wild. :D
3:35 >Timurids with only 2 provinces My every instinct immediately screams NO CB, VASSALIZE, NO CB, VASSALIZE, NO CB, VASSALIZE. and alencon is a scripted event
Korea just chilling in it's 1444 borders the whole time.
the alencon thing is an event for france, they get a couple negative modifiers if they dont release it

Gotta be the closest an AI has come to a Roman Empire restoration in a video so far.

Admin efficiency affects province governing cost
Afaik adm efficiency only affects overextension,AE and coring cost

Probably France having excess warscore during 100 years War that forced England to release Meath, Man and the Isles

How did you give everyone 100% admin effencicy like is it changing something in the files
I am pretty sure You can make a mod to add base admin efficiency. Or make a modifier and give it to all.

Alencon popping out of France is an event, you either pop them out or you lose stab

Eu4 But everyone has 10 permament Unrest
Make it 20 if it sounds cooler and +50 stab cost

What if eu4 started in 1544
theres an event for duke of alencon
the Ottomans, Russians and Prussians all had a sudden collapse. why didn't the French and Vijayanagar also have one?
France wasn't that far from forming Rome. An AI Rome that would have been glorious.
How about 100 admin effectiveness but only for nations that are OPM's in 1444?
I really honestly expected France to form Rome...
alencon is an event
Looks like Baluchistan was the one to form Persia.
is there a mod for this? cos I would like to try this
