I had CSR in my eye, doctor did a laser and the leak stopped. I was cured within a week after the laser which wasn't painful. The key to prevent the CSR is to stay happy, never get depressed, don't take tensions. Stop worrying about future. Note that I never got CSR back after laser because I stopped taking tensions and started being happy.

I have chronic CSCR. It started as acute. Went away on its own and then came back. Then it would not go away. Tried oral meds with success once then it came back again. I had PDT with success. 6 months later it's back again. Had another PDT with full laser strength. Again it was successful. Another 6 months I has slight leakage. We shall see it it resolves itself. Scary disease when it bucks all of the treatments.
I'm 39 and have CSR in left eye. Does anyone know if there is a link between opiate use causing this? All I've been taking is hydrocodone for the last year for my knee. That's all I can think of that's causing it.

I have it in both eyes....my right eye is affected mostly right now...used to be my left but it healed almost completely (it left a trace thats barely noticeable, maybe some "scarring"). My right eye almost was healed and boom it came back full force. I live a happy life...maybe the alcohol? I go to the gym almost everyday and stay healthy. Going to see a sleep doctor soon....maybe sleep apnea?

The temptation to say this is understandable but CSR has been happening forever. It just so happens that people now who get CSR will also have a high chance of having received a vaccine that most people have had.
I always have it and almost every year I have this disease, I do not know why but if it is just stress, maybe because of the amount of problems that come but I can overcome the fear only if you are always there like this Does it have a side effect on you in the future?

Following expensive tests and exams, I was told that a cold laser is the only option but the CSR may return. There has got to be a natural solution...
I have been dealing with this for about a year now. I have done PDT about 3 months ago still no improvement unfortunately. I honestly don't know what else to do. My doctor says there is no other treatment he can do and just wait and maybe it will go away. Im at the point where i can't do anything without an eye patch. I just turned 30.
Take Nevanac Eye drops. I am taking this. Got improvement by Gods blessing. Also eat fish, Carrots, Wallnuts Green vegetablws more. You will get improvement.

I have this in my left eye. Very rare for women. I kept seeing floaters and there was a black spot in my vision, Getting treated in January 2022. 🙏

Yes. I am using for the past 4 months. Got improve ment by God's grace. But still didn't get clear vision. Visuals are small.
