Turkish coffee is not boiled. It needs to have foam on top. You heat it very slowly on the smallest burner at the lowest possible setting (if you have a camp fire etc. you bury the pot in the ashes) and pour it into the cup right after it bubbles/rises up. No boiling, and certainly not for hours. You make it in a cezve which is a small pot for as many cups as you need and you do not keep it in there. You pour it into the cup(s) and drink it.

Unfortunately there are commercial interests with our FDA. Many items no longer in other countries are OK here with our FDA. The FDA would rather we get sick than lose commercial interests.

I switched at one point from Bulletproof coffee to another brand. After a while I began to get a trigeminal nerve pain on the side of my temple. It was a quick sharp shooting pain. As the weeks went on it got more and more frequent until it was happening on and off all day long and it became hard to function. At that point I remembered that Bulletproof coffee is tested for mold toxins and stopped drinking coffee until I could switch back. From that point my headaches slowly went away in the reverse of when they started until they went away completely in a week or so. I new then that I was on to something and have stayed with Bulletproof ever since.

What about collagen peptides? Will they bind with the poly phenols too?
Or is it just dairy proteins?

What would be a couple takeaways from this episode that are easy to do? Don’t add milk to coffee…however heavy cream may be OK? What about organic soy milk or walnut milk? Should we buy organic beans if we can’t afford “Danger coffee”? What are some easy hacks for coffee drinkers to get the most health benefits out of their coffee??

"Although many people believe that plant-based milk is a healthier alternative to cow’s milk, the reality is that they contain an array of health-disrupting ingredients and almost none of its alleged star ingredients. It is crucial to read labels and choose plant-based milk with fewer additives and a higher nutritional profile. Cow’s milk remains the clear winner regarding nutrient density and natural vitamins and minerals."
If you absolutely have to use plant based milks, purchase organic with the fewest ingredients listed.

@ however, dairy prevents the polyphenols from being absorbed. I heard that non dairy creamers do not 🤷🏻‍♀️

When the grinds sit around in the plunger, the mold increase fast, probably because small amounts of mold iz already in it. . the other thing wid coffee iz , if itz strong, iz hard on the kidneys.....for some people wid already kidney damage, lotsa coffee ☕ will dehydrate, and heels will crack
