Hey Sir Nerd! I think it would not hurt my feelings at all if exterior speakers just went away. They never really sound that great. They're almost always mounted too high, and I think they're just more places for potential water intrusion.
13:00 I have that open pocket in my RV. It actually comes in real handy because you can throw blankets and things up there, whereas, having doors would restrict what you can put there. Also, because it’s open you don’t necessarily have to climb up on the bed.😊
AC shrouds - make em white manufacturers!!! I like the shelf in the bedroom, would have baskets lined up which make it easy to bring one down to get what I want.
Oh my! That front storage area!!! The kitchen is good except the oven missing and dark cabinet color. The carpet in the slide needs to go. The side stands by the sofa need to longer and offer storage. The shoe garage needs a cargo net. I agree about the battery disconnect. We would be fine without outdoor speakers. We carry a Bluetooth speaker and use our phones or tablet for music. Overall, I like this travel trailer.
Awesome! This is definitely a floor plan I like. Being a single ol' grumpy guy.... big bed, fluffy bathroom, and nice kitchen layout, and you don't have to slideout if you're long distance traveling.... sign me up! I'm in Virginia, so I guess I'll be coming up to Michigan!
Winnebago now has me watching every new release video eagerly and that's a testament to their efforts to think differently and their experience and ability that allows them to execute those ideas all very well. I tip my hat. Cheers.
Although nice, one of my favorite benefits of a front kitchen is the great views of the park. Even though the pass-through in the front has some interesting possibilities, I think I'd prefer a windshield for the view.
Hi Josh for me and my wife when you say Winnebago you think pretty much high end, but that said upgrade the fart fans put a stove oven in there stop being cheap and definitely raise those tank drain valves they are so low it looks like half tire height I think they can move them up at least three more inches closer to the bottom of the trailer to give you a lot better ground clearance Other than that if all that was done we would definitely be looking at one.
I love this color pallet. Yes on no carpet slide. And can more manufacturers put in larger fans from the factory? I just looked at the price….yikes! Winnebago, y’all are too expensive for me. Sigh.
Man, I really like Winnebagos…as much as Cougars. Just outta my price range. I think they should have the larger vent fan’s standard…as well as the shower temp-diverter thingies. I don’t think no exterior speakers are a deal breaker for me but if they are there, I’ll use em.
Dagnum, that front storage is boss level! You could 100% put some kids in there. Solar control should be inside the cab in my opinion. The carpet has to go! Side splashes are illegal. Love the shoe garage. We're taking a knife to our dinette and putting one in because it's just wasted space under there. I love the walk through bathroom, especially with an outside door to go around it. I personally would want stable steps on the front door. This is a nice rig, would love to see them attempt a bunk model. Happy Father's Day Josh!
This rig hits it out of the park for me! I currently own a 2225RL - but this rig is absolutely awesome! That front storage space would be perfect for storing dog kennels/fences for when you travel with the pups.
I like it all!!! The huge front storage is Awesome.. You can put the big gravity chairs or stand up the extra canopies. And if you might be able to convert into a bike rack by taking the front wheels off and store the up right. then you want have to worry about them getting dirty while you travel.
This is a great floorplan and well executed! Bigger bath skylight for us tall people and no carpet. Netting over the bed, always surprised when a $2 net isn't thrown in there
FINALLY!!!! The dining table on the door side!! I’m thrilled! Love the shoe storage, front kitchen, back bed and it’s window. I’m with ‘ya on the whole bedroom cabinet set up. For us half retired, on the road travelers, it’s nice to be able to get to the fridge and bathroom. Keep the carpet. Not too sure of the toilet and it’s position. I give it a 7.5 out of a 10. Fix the bedroom cabinet’s and toilet location…and it’d be a 10!!
Happy Father's Day Josh. 😊 No slide! Chop off 2' 1" to be under 30' No outside speakers Not good that water and power so close together. I would change the kitchen appliances a bit to move stove and microwave near door and center sink under a window. Doors on overhead cabinets above bed.
My husband and I must be old skool but, we love ❤️ are outdoor speakers. Use them while camping and at home. We also, still like are AM/FM/CD player. We boondock so, we don't always have capability to Bluetooth.
Bluetooth doesn’t require internet. You may be thinking wifi Bluetooth allows things like your phone to wirelessly connect t to other local devices. Works anywhere
The one thing I noticed that I don't normally see is the table has cropped corners, being 5'8" those corners hit me right in the hips, and front area "ouch". 😳 so happy to see it cropped they nailed it there, but I'm not a fan of dinette. For me I'd go with the theater seat. Love the shower with that sliding door I hate shower curtains that stick to you and pull open when you turn around. That front storage is hugh! I'd put ski hooks up for both snow and water ski's. A side splash on the stove top would be nice, I bought a metal 3 sided splash screen for my outside Coleman stove that was so old it lost its top and used it inside to keep greese off the side of the fridge. Very easy table conversion. I just left mine down in bed mode, we used a felt backed table cloth with clips on the outside table, covered with a bug tent. Nice big bathroom is always nice I don't care if theres an oven or not. I used mine to cook small roasts and baked potatoes. Made easy meals pop in the oven and relax for an hour. Or gives you time to make sides like a salad and still have time to sit down while dinner was in the oven. Like the bedroom sliders. I'm not keen on a door into the bedroom I prefer the second door going into the bathroom. I do like all that counter space in the kitchen. I do have to have my Mr. Coffee coffee pot. A toaster, an electric can opener. I had an under mount one. Small fans don't bother me as long as they are blowing out but for bringing cool air in then I'd prefer the larger fan.
Oh I like this one but the biggest thing I do like about the FK is the window in the front. But then it gives you the storage.... UGH so difficult to decide. lol and it's nice the the bedroom doesn't have a slide so it makes it lighter than other FK. But yes they did a great job with giving you the windows on the camp side. and it looks great to be able to get to everything during travel.
Too much storage up front equals Mother-in-law suite. The outside speakers would be turned into security cameras. It's too bad that it's come to that, but if there are holes there already, you might as well use thrm
Like kitchen counterspace. Like backsplash and convection microwave, want oven also. Want theatre seating, don't want carpet, don't want dinette, want desk or drop down counter instead. Love big bathroom. Want cupboard doors over the bed. Like the size of the trailer. Like the outside storage for bikes. Move the battery controller. Like the double azdell, enclosed underbelly and radiant barrier. Dont want outside speakers. Overall, really like this one.
Sort of reminds me of our Grand Design 255FK, with a slide. I think I like this one more. I love the front storage latch on this unit vs the 2 small horrible latches on our unit.
Although I need a bunk model, I really do like this layout. That front storage is awesome. Extra tables could be stored there. I would build a battery storage area and expand the solar capacity.
My cat is ambivalent about the carpet on the slide, I'm happy to see them go. The mini closet is awesome, as is the layout of the kitchen. With the front storage reminds me of a horse TT, and i can already see how Id organize it. Plus, I have injuries that im recivering from that makes the taller outside storage perfect. These features have put this at the top of my list when I'm ready to trade in. So much for downsizing from a 32'. I wonder why no one has put in storage in those end tables? I created one in my current TT, and it's perfect for storing work stuff (files, wireless keyboard, laptop, etc) when I'm done for the day. I discovered so far there's usually nothing but a few wires down there and a ton of extra space, but then again it's not terribly hard to pop them off carefully.
This is very nice and I think your suggestions would make it so much better. And that front storage, WOW!!!! For more storage in there, they could put at the top a net to not waste the space at the top.
I think the open shelf above the bed would be a great place for those decorative pillows that are moved when the bed is in use. The outdoor speakers could go away and not be missed by us, we have our Bluetooth speakers that sound much better and are much more effective. This is actually a really nice layout and I'm glad we took the time to take a look. We're trying to stay under the 30' actual length but would definitely consider this one if we decided to go a little longer. Glad to see no floor vents. I don't know why any maker still puts the heater vents in the floor except that it is easier and cheaper. I watched a video recently on a new big Montana front office 5th wheel and there was a floor vent right in front of the kitchen sink and another in front of the oven/stove. Perfect spots for food and spill collection.... Great kitchen storage, the oven is no loss unless your boondocking with no power to run the convection oven. We do most cooking outside so that additional drawer is awesome in place of the oven. The skylight in the shower needs to be rectangular like most already are. The front storage is spectacular but I see it being problematic for securing cargo, the battery switch definitely needs to be relocated to the front wall just inside the door.
I like it! But ... WHAT IF you take out the dinette, provide the adjustable height fold-in-half-to-store-use-anywhere table, and put a tv/pantry/fireplace there instead (split around the window!)? I would enjoy that flexibility a lot more!
LMAO!! You are killing me with the pineapple/swinging reference. hahaha!!! This is a great job done by winnebago. Those rockwood V-noses always went with the tiny showers.
Needs a plug on wall in kitchen near window for countertop, needs swing tv yes for larger tv, needs a king option for sure, needs storage drawers in dinette seats, needs an air fryer oven
Personally, I have never used outside speakers . Like bumper for stinky hose storage. Having grandkids in AZ, a 2nd a/c is required. Agree it would be nice to have the backsplash all the way around. Bacon & sausage grease goes everywhere! Would prefer larger fans. Nice surprise from Winnebago.
While this is way too big for me, I really, really like this! Love a front kitchen. Love the sofa in slide and a dinette with good windows campside. I personally love a walk thru bath and really love a rear bedroom! I like all the external storage. And I am only half way thru the video.
I like the two tone colour in the kitchen cabinets, but the backsplash not wrapping around the stove, argh! Yes to eliminating outside speakers. We almost never use them.
Nice unit. I would like an oven though. We use ours a lot. And would take the 2 way gas/electric. As far as outdoor speakers....I see no need for them. Just one more thing to potentially leak. Great review.
No need for the outside speakers in my opinion. Nice RV, cool front storage. I would not change much other than loose the full dinette for maybe a bench for seating or one you could use with stool? Might not possible but perhaps. Another great video!
I really love this lay out. I would love to see an option for some kind of storage/breakfast bar thingy where the dinette is. Maybe with a table at the sofa. Speakers don't need to be there. Throw in a tiny bose bluetooth so if I want it I can bring it with me.
Love this camper. But here’s my opinion… get rid of the carpet, put in a dang oven, and put in bigger fans from factory, put doors in the open pocket above the bed, don’t need the outside speakers, and I love the shoe garage!!
My forehead is getting tired of hitting the cabinet above the sink in my Freedom Express 259FKDS. This RV fixes that, and allows wall outlets instead of under cabinet ones. Also, there is a drop to the main floor from the slide floor. Slides without carpet begin to wear through the linoleum at that transition area, ( Mine is already cracking ) Carpet softens that transition and doesn't wear out like linoleum. And I've been thinking of making my neighbor's outside speakers "go away" for 2 seasons now.
You could put some hooks up the walls in that tall storage to hold fishing rods, or hang storage bags (like some outside chairs come in) from and other lighter things, so the floor space can be used for heavier items like tables.
It'd be nice if manufacturers who put 12 v fridges in deep slides would bring the fridge forward to be flush w/ the slide fascia - eliminating the overhead head-banger. Would also provide a spot behind the fridge for some great outdoor storage (not that this floorplan needs more). Would also like to see the walk-thru bath 'compartmentalized', much like on B+ models or Airstreams - I think more buyers would be a little more open to considering a walk-thru bath (no toilet in the hall). Bye-bye carpet in the slide (let's hope) and I wish the valances and pleated shades (cheap and dated) would get replaced w/ frames w/ built in shades/dayblinds like those used on Class B's and a few travel trailers (Embers?). Nice plan overall.
1. Theater seating WITH 3 way fridge 2. Change traditional dinette to a J dinette with a televator 3. Pull out drawers for at least the front compartment 4. Ditch the outside speakers…it’s cheaper to buy a portable speaker than to pay for repairs when there’s a leak.
Love the floorplan, the refrigerator and seating options, the porcelain toilet, huge awning, standard solar and outside storage👍but since this is a $60,000 MSRP RV they also need to get rid of the carpet, the Dollar Store 4” fart fans and add a standard oven😕
We have never ever used outside speakers. They could go away. I don't bake and haven't used a convection oven either but I really like the idea of the extra storage you get by deleting that tiny oven. Love that backsplash but agree with you, it needs to go all the way around. This is kind of a backwards version of our Imagine XLS23LDE. Wonderful floor plan. We finally got ours out to play last week. I admit that after watching your videos I was concerned about the two gray tanks but they were no problem at all! Surprised and pleased. Love the fluffy friendly bathroom, especially with the bedroom being tight. That shower door is great unless it pops open unexpectedly 😮 just be sure to get it shut 😅
No need for outdoor speakers. I bring my own 6inch outdoor portable waterproof speaker on all my trips. I can go on a hike and bring my speaker with me.
I could do without the stereo or outdoor speakers. We have them in our trailer and we never use it anyway. we camp for the piece and quiet, not to party. I feel as though it's rude to have loud music playing in a campground. But thats just me. We are an older couple who just like piece and quiet.
Gotta agree with you Josh, ditch the outside speakers. Everybody listens to music on their phone anyway. - If I were to make Two changes, they would be: use some of the space under the bed for an outside griddle and Medicine Cabinet - the the other is that being I'm older and less stable than I used to be, I would like to see ground contact steps on the primary entry door. Nice looking unit !!
Love this one! I'd have a hard time choosing between It, and the 2630mlrk,with its cool "pull out" dining table/desk. LOVE the idea of putting a convection microwave instead of the gas oven. Although it can be inconvenient when dry camping. They could have put some effort and creativity into venting the stov fan outside. 50 amp, yay!! You showed a trailer once, that had a Bluetooth speaker hanging on the inside wall, that you just grab and take outside with you. That is the perfect compromise. Double grey tanks isn't a huge problem for me. You just need a second hose and a Y connection. LOVE that awning!
Propane ovens we don't like they add too much humidity, try cooking french fries. Storage is great and the kitchen is great. TV is in a fine location. This is a great couples TT and the walkthrough bathroom is not a problem. Really like the north/south bed and the full access with the side in is really nice. Half ton, no three quarter with a good tow package. My only complaint, the name Minnie can Winnebago please come up with an updated name. Outside speakers, get rid of them along with the TV as a standard.
Minnie has been a Winnebago name for ages. I’d be surprised to see that changed. The brand has evolved a lot since it first came back in these Towables
Dump the outside speakers! Just another penitration to leak. Overall I really like this floor plan it just needs a few tweeks. The TV needs to pivit down not side to side. I think the lack of oven is fine. I agree that the carpett in the slide needs to go. Is there any camera prep? How much additional solar can I add? As an option you might include a shelf for draw in the front pass through, larger items below and smaller above.
I’m 5’ tall so I have leg room no matter what. But I can’t reach my microwave because it’s way too high. I have a stepladder in my rv for everything. I can’t reach some storage so it’s going to be pushed down.
This is a cool floor plan, different. I think you can put bikes up front but I’d have to remove pedals and turn my handlebars sideways to get them in. I use my Winnie for mountain bike trips, i install my bike rack on the hitch on the trailer and transfer it to my truck once setup. As far as speakers, I use mine even though the quality is terrible. I’d prefer to have no holes on the outside and to use a Bluetooth speaker. And what’s up with the park cable outlet? I can’t recall a campground that had functional cable.
And as for the speakers, elimination comes to mind. Most if not all folks have a cell phone to get access to Bluetooth. There's some killer Bluetooth speakers out there and you get to position them where you want! It's a no- brainer!
Storage is good. Front is carzy. Be carefi;e. Could be easy to overload the tongue. Shade in Door! I'd rather they flipped the tub and toilet and moved the second do to there. Maybe a split bath type of setup.
Are they going to put soft starts for the A/C in the 2024 models, and could they do black out shades in the bedroom? This is regarding the 2832RK in the Winnebago travel trailer.
Can the tongue weight on front kitchen models become an issue? I like this floor plan but I still prefer the slide our bedroom on this OR if they did a Rockwood and provided no upper side cabinets but added the wardrobe cabinet in a slide out.
@@JoshtheRVNerd , I watch you on my iPhone and I Bluetooth it through my JBL speaker. It’s the best for that.! of course I take it camping with me also. Happy Father’s Day to you.!

I'd love outside leaker speakers to go away.
They really don’t need to put those cheap radio/cd players in these either. Better options with blue tooth speakers being run through phone streaming.
Ty Kevin. This is good feedback
I agree!💯 I have my own portable speakers that are better
Ditch them, save weight and structural integrity.

Needs a plug on wall in kitchen near window for countertop, needs swing tv yes for larger tv, needs a king option for sure, needs storage drawers in dinette seats, needs an air fryer oven
👍🏻
😂😂 Thanks for the info about the 🍍 ….I was unaware!!!!! (I had to google)😂😂😂😂
I like this model! Super cute!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing
While this is way too big for me, I really, really like this!
Love a front kitchen. Love the sofa in slide and a dinette with good windows campside.
I personally love a walk thru bath and really love a rear bedroom!
I like all the external storage.
And I am only half way thru the video.
Glad you like it!
I like the two tone colour in the kitchen cabinets, but the backsplash not wrapping around the stove, argh! Yes to eliminating outside speakers. We almost never use them.
Good call!
Nice unit. I would like an oven though. We use ours a lot. And would take the 2 way gas/electric. As far as outdoor speakers....I see no need for them. Just one more thing to potentially leak. Great review.
Thanks for sharing!
👍 keep them coming. Great compromise. A non slide-out lover just might agree with a slide-out lover.
More to come!
We do NOT need/want outside speakers. Not for us. Not for our camp neighbors. 👍🏻
👍🏻
No need for the outside speakers in my opinion. Nice RV, cool front storage. I would not change much other than loose the full dinette for maybe a bench for seating or one you could use with stool? Might not possible but perhaps. Another great video!
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for talking your shoes off when lying down. Great video 😊
You’re welcome 😊
It’s not my furniture and feels super disrespectful to leave my shoes on
I really love this lay out. I would love to see an option for some kind of storage/breakfast bar thingy where the dinette is. Maybe with a table at the sofa. Speakers don't need to be there. Throw in a tiny bose bluetooth so if I want it I can bring it with me.
Ty
Love this camper. But here’s my opinion… get rid of the carpet, put in a dang oven, and put in bigger fans from factory, put doors in the open pocket above the bed, don’t need the outside speakers, and I love the shoe garage!!
I don’t use/need outside speakers. As long as the TV has a sound bar, I don’t need a cheap stereo like they tend to use (aka Jensen)
While not ideal for us, this layout will certainly be perfect for many potential customers. Great video presentation as usual Uncle Josh!!!
Many thanks!
And I've been thinking of making my neighbor's outside speakers "go away" for 2 seasons now.
hahaha
You could put some hooks up the walls in that tall storage to hold fishing rods, or hang storage bags (like some outside chairs come in) from and other lighter things, so the floor space can be used for heavier items like tables.
I had similar ideas for cargo there
Did I see that Winnebago actually owns Grand Design?
They have since 2015
Backsplash looks like the walls has cracks….lol. Nice floor plan though
That's what I thought too!
Good point about the fridge, and the potential storage behind it.
Some really solid feedback here. Thank you.
1. Theater seating WITH 3 way fridge
2. Change traditional dinette to a J dinette with a televator
3. Pull out drawers for at least the front compartment
4. Ditch the outside speakers…it’s cheaper to buy a portable speaker than to pay for repairs when there’s a leak.
I loved the interior of V nose. Exterior not so much. But sure loved the models without the walk thru bath and with the awesome recliner chairs.
Thanks for sharing!
I like the outdoor speakers but i think they should be lower mounted nice csmper.
Can be tricky in a laminated wall. They need something to "hide" the other side in usually. Like a cabinet. I wonder if that dinette couldn't work
Hi Josh, It was cool to talk to you via video on Friday. Alicia showed us some nice models. We chose a Wolf Pup 16FQ Black Label.
Ty so much for taking a moment to speak with me
Love the floorplan, the refrigerator and seating options, the porcelain toilet, huge awning, standard solar and outside storage👍but since this is a $60,000 MSRP RV they also need to get rid of the carpet, the Dollar Store 4” fart fans and add a standard oven😕
I love this one! The hitch weight is a bit too high for our f150
I like this floor plan. Still think that prowler front dinning with private rear bedroom beats it tho
Good tip on the shower!
No need for outdoor speakers. I bring my own 6inch outdoor portable waterproof speaker on all my trips. I can go on a hike and bring my speaker with me.
👍🏻
Thanks Josh - also thanks to the squirrel who we now know likes ounces of pineapple!
Hahahaha
I could do without the stereo or outdoor speakers. We have them in our trailer and we never use it anyway. we camp for the piece and quiet, not to party. I feel as though it's rude to have loud music playing in a campground. But thats just me. We are an older couple who just like piece and quiet.
Thank you, Greg
No oven?? Big fail when it seems like the whole purpose of this design was to have a great front kitchen.
Yeah, I would also want an oven as well, I make blueberry muffins for breakfast along with scrambled eggs and bacon.
The convection oven is easy to use- if you are hooked up to power.
Love the front kitchen
Gotta agree with you Josh, ditch the outside speakers. Everybody listens to music on their phone anyway. - If I were to make Two changes, they would be: use some of the space under the bed for an outside griddle and Medicine Cabinet - the the other is that being I'm older and less stable than I used to be, I would like to see ground contact steps on the primary entry door. Nice looking unit !!
Ty Anthony!!
Ty gary!
Like the Floorplan and window placement a lot. Color palate and finishes not so much.
Thx marty
My brain mashed up a bunch of letters at a glance I thought you were asking to include dump station speakers, which had me laughing
Camera mounting systems can apply to any RV so they don’t need any specific prep by the way
That’s kind of just marketing to boost camera sales
9:49 Muppet Mode: Activated! 😆
It needs a light above the shower! It seemed quite dark. Over bed cabinets need doors!
Very few rvs seem to have those but I like it when they do
I’m 5’ tall so I have leg room no matter what. But I can’t reach my microwave because it’s way too high. I have a stepladder in my rv for everything. I can’t reach some storage so it’s going to be pushed down.
Love 😍 it but you are guys are making it hard to choose. So many are great 👍
Lol sorry!
I'm in the camp of "get rid of them" myself
Storage is good.
Front is carzy. Be carefi;e. Could be easy to overload the tongue.
Shade in Door!
I'd rather they flipped the tub and toilet and moved the second do to there. Maybe a split bath type of setup.
Yeah always need to be smart with cargo
Like the rear Lass thru. Same thing
I'd be fine if the outside speakers went away. They're never going to deliver great sound quality and id rather not have more holes in my walls.
Ty
Excellent ! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks Josh! ❤🎉
My pleasure!!
Are they going to put soft starts for the A/C in the 2024 models, and could they do black out shades in the bedroom? This is regarding the 2832RK in the Winnebago travel trailer.
Haven’t heard anything about the airs. I wouldn’t expect they have plans to do so
It needs an oven.
Yes, I absolutely agree!
Love the new new interior
awesome
Can the tongue weight on front kitchen models become an issue? I like this floor plan but I still prefer the slide our bedroom on this OR if they did a Rockwood and provided no upper side cabinets but added the wardrobe cabinet in a slide out.
Anything can be an issue if cargo isn’t loaded and spread out properly
More toy hauler reviews ! Please 😎
Surprised that they didn't go with a tank less water heater which seems to be gaining ground with manufacturers.
Yeah, I kind of feel similarly
21:21 do away with the outside speakers. Give me a JBL or equivalent Bluetooth speaker. I use it all the time.!! 😅
I actually question if a manufacture even needs to include one, considering how many people tend to have available in their own homes now
@@JoshtheRVNerd , I watch you on my iPhone and I Bluetooth it through my JBL speaker. It’s the best for that.! of course I take it camping with me also. Happy Father’s Day to you.!
23:18 oh no you didn’t ! 😂
I totally did
Could a combo washer and dryer fit back there?
No factory allowances for one as it turns out. Anything else would be DIY
I LOVE THIS CAMPER. Only problem is a sky high MSRP.😮
*sigh* yeah.. that is a thing right now
