All these Don't Allow Phone to DSLR hookup threw capture card. 😥 I would gladly pay for that service. I'm a live stream media Company that films Crime scenes/fires crashes ect. But I stream from my mobile device and when I get to a scene I hook up the Phone to my DSLR Camera threw capture card. It's a must for me cause sometimes I can't get right up on the scene sometimes so I gotta Zoom from a distance. I'm using Restream but the third party app I'm using that allows the hookup, that app is having issues right now.
I use a dslr with an elgato cap card. All 3 support it no problem.

I had restream for 1 month and I had the $41 tier..
I used it to stream church services on Facebook live....
On our 1ST STREAM we had 7 guests and randomly our guests kept getting kicked off...
Also it kept losing connection with the guests participant's..
The connection bars kept going from green to red.. .
The problem wasn't on me or the guests as we all had direct connections to our routers with gig speed internet...
All this happened 30 minutes prior to services....
We had to log off and do our livestream on Zoom....
I immediately canceled my subscription and I'm in the business of looking for a new streaming service...
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RESTREAM AS THEY WERE A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT...

From the past 3 months .. Same thing happened to me with restream.. I tried with many connections LAN, Wan, mobile network. Nothing worked.. So now i am looking for new one.. Probably it would be streamyard.
Sorry but this was confusing to follow with the way you jump back and forth between options. Great notes, just had trouble knowing which was which (gotta pay attention 😝)

Restream branding can be removed starting from Standard Plan since August. Might be worth making a correction ;)
Thanks for the update. At the time of this video was filmed that was not the case as you can see from the screen cap. Maybe an update is in order.

Also, Melon pricing has changed since Streamlabs has made it free as part of their Ultra plan.
Streamyard has been lagging extremely lately i am thinking of switch to restream hopefully its better i got a capture card and all moved my wifi box closer so im really thinking its the platform wish me luck 🤞🏽
I just signed up for the restream 7 day trial today...
Restream has been doing the same thing. I have tested over data and Wi-Fi and let me tell you it buffers. We have had it for a year now and all of sudden it has started to leg which is very irritating.
Melon alerts feature is cool but I still think streamyard is better. The camera layout can melon is much better. Especially when u do cams with screenshare. Melon uses wide camera layouts. Takes too much of the screen and when u make them smaller it’s so hard to see. Streamyard camera layouts are better. Plus up to 10 cameras at once. Melon only 6. That’s the deal breaker for me.

I love Restream but hate that we have some people doing Lives and others doing UA-cam content but can only do 1 at a time. Where as Streamyard let's us make multiple rooms at a time.
I noticed that Restream has shortcuts (L1) (L2) ect. to change layouts. Is it possible to program them into a StreamDeck to switch between them?

i love melon, but which i am less satisfied with the smoothness level of the shared video is a bit less smooth.

Streamyard allows you to download the audio of your video once the broadcast is done also, i am considering melon but if that audio option isnt available im not gonna bother

I'm a Mevo Start user and this product has got very high end features, nevertheless I don't get crisp images and footage as I get with my iPhone. Therefore, I'm considering to use one of these three on-line streaming products. I'm thinking to use the Mevo as a webcam connected to the PC and use a couple of smartphones as "guests" in order to configure a multicam setup. BUT, I'm wondering how to manage the audio during the Sunday service. Send the audio from the Mixer straight into the PC? And what about if a band is playing live music?

Restream has now updated their mid tier it seems as now you can remove the logo amoung other features.
