I love how he wants to give us the tools and understanding to start on our own musical journeys. He’s not trying to be the expert, or preach his own theory system. He’s just a humble dude explaining that we can discover our own way of seeing and hearing music so that we can enjoy music as much as, or even more than, he does, even if we do it differently.
2:52 Jacob answers the question "What kind of advice could you give to someone who doesn't have their whole lives dedicated to music? How could they approach studying it?"

that translator dude... a SAINT lol... Jacob didn’t give him even close to a chance as he was just following his train of thoughts, fully self-absorbed & immersed, seemingly unable to control it in order to give the translator the space he needed... (while those who catch english easily are absolutely delighted with this refreshing sharing of innovative thoughts & concepts) but that’s because he isn’t used to be translated live: yet ANOTHER thing he needs to & will learn overtime and probably master as well i’m sure (lol) 😉🙂 I think some day he will look back on these masterclass sessions & he’ll be horrified at how bad he managed the translation part of it, if only because, probably VERY LITTLE of the treasures he was passionately trying to convey actually made it to these people’s brains... although they witnessed the HEART of it for sure 😄👍

I’m dying 😂. That interpreter is just nodding yes to his class
