Five things that don’t need refrigeration:
    1. Honey 🍯
    2. Nutella
    3. Tortillas
    4. Peanut Butter
    5. Avocados 🥑

Apples, grapes, watermelon, goldfish or cheeze it’s. If you plan on bringing eggs for the first day or two crack them and put in a water bottle. Easy to store in the cooler. Also pre-freeze all your disposable water bottles. Can’t forget gummy fruit snacks, packs of instant mashed potatoes. If you want to bring butter use salted butter and put it in a plastic container in case it melts. I also like prechopping fresh bell pepper and onions and freeze. Hot sauce!!! Premade rice. Bread peanut butter/jelly. Beef jerky. Pre make pancakes heat up on a skillet with a little butter at a low heat and cover for a few minutes. Cookies. There are a bunch more but these are my go to’s

Thank you, this was so helpful. My bf is a festival pro and he will take me to my first festival next year so I have been watching vids. He has explained a lot to me and answered all my questions but I'm a creature of comfort so super nervous! LOL

My mother always packs half of the kitchen when we go out camping; no matter where we are. Just this past camping trip.
She had a full steak potato dinner with either macaroni salad or coleslaw the first night we were there, the next morning we usually get Diner style hashbrowns from the leftover potatoes from dinner; with scrambled eggs & sourdough thats been toasted over the fire. Then we had a sourdough grilled cheese with the leftover steak pieces we had going into it,with the 2 types of cheese we brought for the grilled cheeses. & That was just for day one, for day two She brought eggs,Milk & Pancake mix & bacon with mushrooms and Sourdough toasted in bacon grease
for breakfast. She has some seriously, Wild Menus for when we go out camping & I love being outdoors being able to cook on my cast-iron over an open flame.
She may go out there with the kitchen sink but as long as I've got butter, mushrooms, mushroom soup, ground beef, a box of turkey stove top stuffing and my handy Salt & Pepper I have got you a hearty kick ass meal that will feed at least 4-6 people & it makes for great leftovers too.

I bring a small grill. I premake bbq pulled chicken in a few diff ziplocks, and hotdog buns to eat it. Super easy to reheat. Charcuterie is awesome . Precut cheese and deli meats and crackers. Dry ice is essential. Nonstick aluminum foil is a lifesaver for easy separation while cooking. Keep the meats away from the veggies. I tend to make everything thursday, and have it ready to be heated or eaten until sunday when we leave. Raw chicken or meat isnt something you want to risk cross contamination while cooking. Def makes it easier to portion as well. Crumpets hold up great. Pancakes can hold for a few days premade. Ramen is easy of you prep veggies and just boil water. Have a great time out there partying!

I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS!! Proud snackaholic over here! I totally buy those baby food packs and eat them sometimes LOL. I like to bring vegan jerky with me too it’s so tasty! Personally I’m not into cooking and worrying about ice so I just buy my meals on site and snack in between :) but you’ve provided a lot of good ideas. You’re so knowledgeable! Thanks for sharing these tips and i totally hope to meet you at a festival someday.

My mother always packs half of the kitchen when we go out camping; no matter where we are, be it camping in our van, beside a river tucked in a mountain valley in the south of our province or out in the Hoo Doo's. Just this past camping trip.

we usually do goulash at our festivals, if they allow a gas burner, and most to. its the best thing ever, works great with pickles, you never had a better hungover food in the morning, or one before to beep the hungover from coming. but we usually do it on the 2nd day. its like this but we use a gas stove burner. if we go in the wilds we actually do it like this since the flavour is better from wood, its traditional cooking for over 600 years in the area... ua-cam.com/video/KMWdi4VUOdk/v-deo.html

how do you handle your gear not overheating, my dji poket died a lot from overheat, and also people not stealing your stuff?

Jeez that's rough regarding your DJI! If it's a car camping festival I usually lock my valuables in the car. If it's not, then I try not to bring that many valuables.

There's vegan cheese. Vegans can bring their own substitutes.
