Great to see your comedy team of halo and chief is back on the trails, which I never doubted you had been, but you are sharing them with us. Look forward to your adventures.
I think being a Mother Daughter Team you are worried for both of you which is only natural but you have more chance of being run over in your local town. Great to see the family out together and lovely to be out there with Dad. Looking forward to episode 2.
Really excited about your trip. You are 100% correct about reframing your negative thoughts to something more manageable. I have the catastrophizing thoughts before my backpacking trips. And even if things go south, it’s still ok. Can’t wait until your next video.
I definitely do the whole "worst case scenario" thing before every trip (especially when the dogs are with me), but I think of it as good risk management. As you say, it makes you consider what you would do if the situation actually happened. It's just part of building a good skillset and mindfulness about what you're doing, which I think is a positive thing in the end. Looking forward to watching your Sawtooth adventure!
I’m a worry wort so have mini anxiety sessions every time we head out for even day hikes. Nice to see the entire (?) family on a camping- hiking trip together (minus the felines)
Glad to see some upcoming videos! Will the guys be issued trail names? Just did some camping at Wallowa Lake in Oregon and oh man there is SO much exploring to go back to. The campground in Idaho reminded me of how the Wallowa Lake area looked. Happy Trails and looking forward to your next adventure videos.
Those are absolutely mom/parent anxieties just put in another context. Not trail anxiety my wife has all of those anxieties and worries in a very different situation. And you will never find her on a trail unless it is leading to a luxury hotel
Hey, you made it. Luxury camping! Well....that's about to change 😀😀
I am so excited to watch this video!!!! 😊

That line of cars reminds me of Vegas to L.A. at the end of a weekend.
I’m pretty sure it was like a 2 hour long wait to take a left hand turn!

Every. Trip. What is that?!?
Im glad your worries about what ifs don’t stop you. It’s always good to remember not to borrow troubles.
You’re not the only what iffer!💚

I’ve got less than 200 miles to go on the PCT and I quite often think of you guys getting it done last year 🖖
Good job getting it done this year!!
