    Go to Sheet Music Plus. Just do a search for "William Tell Overture 2 piano". It's the arrangement that we played, but we just doubled each part.

      Top class pianists (or any other musicians) would never be distracted by the audience. Also if the stage lighting is done properly the performers cant see the audience anyway.

  • @walshrd
    @walshrd 2 роки тому +1

    Terrible!! If you want a piano version of Willian Tell, try the ONE-piano transcription by Liszt. Those recordings are inspirational. This one is no where near inspirational. This 4-piano version was recorded in an auditorium with horrid acoustics. The pianos sound tinny and muddled. Couple this with noise from the audience, and you have a recording that is hard to listen to or enjoy.

    • @MarioAjero
      @MarioAjero  9 років тому +1

      +Vic Townsend Thanks. I've brought him (and his sister) to recitals and concerts since he was 3 years old, and I think it's made a positive impact on his music education. These other commenters who complain about his coughing in this recording of a live concert need to get over themselves and realize these things happen.

    • @es3502012
      @es3502012 8 років тому

      +Mario Ajero In that case, I hope he was a quiet and respectful kid since 3 years old then. Otherwise, I cannot imagine how many people have had a bad concert experience, and how many musicians had to perform with distractions. I understand that you are defending your son as a father, but noise is noise, as a part of the audiences, if we were forced to make noises, we try to make it as quiet as possible, like cover up the mouth with some sort of cloth/fabric from a shirt/jacket. And it's your job to teach your son to do whatever to keep the noise down, doesn't matter if its painful, but to give others a pleasant experience. Just because it is beneficial, doesn't mean he should be forgiven all the time for making noises. instead, it is your responsibility. Again, I hope he was a quiet kid. Also, I hope he would understand now, since he is 11. There is a reason why grown-ups holds their coughing until the end of a piece/movement. As much as you are defending your son on youtube, you need to teach him that, so he doesn't get hated in the future because he will no longer be a kid, being a kid is no longer an excuse.

    • @MarioAjero
      @MarioAjero  8 років тому +6

      es3502012 Yes, he is a quiet kid. And he knows to try his best to be quiet and respectful in performances, but we're all human and sometimes suffer coughing episodes. My point is that if it didn't bother me (and I'm one of the performers on stage in this video), then I think it shouldn't be that big of a deal to people watching our video from the comforts of their own homes.

    • @es3502012
      @es3502012 8 років тому +2

    Impressive but spoiled by not seeing the performers faces. What happened with the Stage Manager? The Performer should NEVER have their back to the audience. If the Conductor with his gimmick was the performer, why did he need 8 superb pianists to get people to see him wear a blindfold? All the Conductor did was prove he memorized the score, nothing outstanding in that! Child Pianists all over the world do that to pass their grade exams. Great music well played but the stage set-up ruined the performance.

    • @MarioAjero
      @MarioAjero  4 роки тому

      On the contrary, we felt it was better to prioritize that the audience see the pianists' hands at the pianos' keyboards. Seeing our faces for the close to 10-minute duration of the piece while hiding the keyboards would have taken away from the audience's experience and would likely not elicit as enthusiastic of a response as you see at 11:40.

    Spiacente,gran lavoro ma parere negativo: troppa confusione, a suonare, troppe mani sulle stesse note.un progetto che ha il solo scopo di esagerare,di vedere in quanti si riesce a suonare questo pezzo senza farlo diventare un'accozzaglia,ma hanno superato il limite ,rimane solo la quantità. Quanto al direttore,inutile a dirigere,se il suo scopo era fare il buffone,faccia pure...quattro risate sono sempre benvenute.
