Andy Cole was my favourite player. When we signed him from the geordies I couldn't have been happier. The career he had, that stats he put up, and the fact he's in the top 10 all time prem striker list WITHOUT a single penalty to his name. He doesn't get the respect he deserves these days.
Cantona was the ultimate footballing enigma - a manager's nightmare. What ever weirdness he pulled off the pitch it was impossible to leave him out of the team
Interesting how they said "Wales may never come as close again" as they did to the 1994 World Cup. At the time, that probably felt true. But then they went to two in a row, 2018 and 2022. Just goes to show, anything can change in football.
What a team we had. I think we were 16 points clear at one stage but typical United we always do it the hard way!! And the away game at Chelsea there must have been about 10,000 reds standing on the old north stand, I was right in the middle. They were escorting United fans out of the shed end up to the north stand!!
Don't worry Mark and Marc - it's now 2023 and City have just won the Treble and are favourites to win every competition they enter. United, on the other hand, are struggling to even sign a striker... How times change...
I loved these prem years matt le tisser scoring phenomenal goals and shearer and sutton the SAS banging goals in for Blackburn rovers andy cole was prolific this season Newcastle were an exciting team but keegan couldn't handle the pressure in the season's to come after they were 12 points clear in 1995/96 and fergie got to him im an arsenal fan but it didn't work with wenger the mind games he won arsenal 3 premier league titles and 3 FA cups in his first 7 seasons including 2 doubles in 1998 and 2002 and an unbeaten league win in 2004
Unreal, when the wales wc match game up, my subconscious said " paul bodin" i don't think iv ever thought of the game since the day it played but i do remember poor paul boding penalty specialist missing. 3o years ago ...
As a west brom fan i just wish I'd have seen matt le tissier play.. Great player but like my hero's Statham Cunningham and regis never played enough for England due to the FAs snobbery
@Alberto utd won the title playing great football, liverpool have not played great football for years...liverpool have won the league but are far from the best team .
Yeah it is quite annoying. If shows like Top Gear have achieved anything they made us realise that banter between co-presenters can be genuinely funny!
McGinley was at Millwall for a couple of years but was in and out the side,i don’t know why as he was a talented player. We gave him away to Bolton,it was criminal.

Not even a kopite but bruce mentioning Spurs and Arsenal doing the double despite Liverpool doing it in 86 is quite pathetic
9:44 I had forgotten all about Norwich City winning at Bayern Munich, what a result that was. Has any Enlish club won there since ?
Liverpool in 2019
Unreal, when the wales wc match game up, my subconscious said " paul bodin" i don't think iv ever thought of the game since the day it played but i do remember poor paul boding penalty specialist missing. 3o years ago ...
Steve Bruce on the subject of Double winning teams failing to mention the Liverpool team of 86!!
5:53 until 2022
As a west brom fan i just wish I'd have seen matt le tissier play.. Great player but like my hero's Statham Cunningham and regis never played enough for England due to the FAs snobbery
Cyrelle Regis! What a player!!
Phil Neal "I still maintain it was a penalty"
It was a foul 5 yards outside the box you scouse single cell organism 😂😂😂
Eric....
No mention of Liverpool’s double Steve Bruce. 😂😂😂
thats because liverpool were insignificant and in many ways still are
@Alberto utd won the title playing great football, liverpool have not played great football for years...liverpool have won the league but are far from the best team .
Le Tissier before he PLUMMETED down the rabbit hole.
That was a shocking Parma kit....
the 'lad patter' is unbearable

They love Man u on this show.
Did Alan Ball try to sign Matt Le Tiss at Man City ?
First time I've seen UA-cam have two ads before a video. What is this??
Capitalism.
Zionism
John McGinley ... the striker Ian Wright could have been

16:15 - is Le Tissier wearing the infamous grey Manchester United away shirt?!
It's his dodgy tache that's more concerning 😂
Hey bruce, LFC done tge double in 1986!
Anyone knows where I could find episodes 1989-90 and 1990-1991?
It’s before the premier league so doesn’t count.
Are those presenters actually famous?? How?
Mark and Lard were part of the biggest radio program of the late 90s. They both are still on the radio (BBC radio 6) but don’t work together.
Do you have 92-93?
Dailymotion. It’s on there.
Why did Le Tissier not become a superstar?
England politics (Hoddle) ..And maybe the fact that he never left Southampton for a bigger club..You have to applaud the loyalty though

Didn't Terry Venables have a problem with him as well, though?
To get the best out of Le Tiis you would need to build the team around him. Venables played a system that he would never have fitted into.
England hooligans not fans....
Ireland got through dudnt we????😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mark and Lard weren’t very funny.
Not that type of person. Lol
14:24 the greatest City moment in history
Them 2 are about as funny as Toothache
It was q sending off but no peno....
Still no excuse for rhe England hooligans to start anything. Thank god you lot didn't qualify
