- This was a repair I did on my H2 and I would like to share it with my fellow H2 owners.
This video is to show the removal of the A/C Module Assembly of a 2004 H2 Hummer. This is to replace the Heater Core, Evaporator Core, and Temperature Blend Doors.
I also have a video of how to remove the dash to access the Module.
Please rate my video and comments are also appreciated.
Thank you for posting this. I had already watched this before going to find a mechanic to replace it. First place I went to tried telling me they would have to disassemble everything under the hood and remove my engine to access my replace my heater core because it was all in the engine compartment. The indignation and denials when I called their bluff were awesome.
Very helpful video. I am in the process of removal of A/C evap. Your video's have saved me a lot of time and headache. Thank you.
This is awesome craftsmanship. Video was great
Great video! It worked very well for me! I think you missed 1 screw just behind the engine! Thank you for sharing!!!
Awesome videos showing were the bolts are on h2 hummer heater core job thanks for taking the time to do thorough videos!!
Excellent video!
Do you have to drain radiator coolant before you remove the heater core?
@@wildfir3536 The coolant does not need to be drained. You will lose some coolant when you disconnect the two hoses that are connected to the heater core located in the engine compartment on the firewall. But that should be it. Be sure to keep the hoses elevated so it won't drain the entire system.
how did you removed the dash? I just need to fix the bottom blend door on passenger side
I have a video on that. Look under my channel and you'll find 2004 H2 Hummer dash removal. Just so you know you won't be able to access the passenger blend door without removing the HVAC module. The reason I know this is because I was also having an issues with the passenger side blend door and found out that I needed to remove the HVAC .module
I have the same issue with the bottom vent! did you found out how it's replaced?
@@jrponce875 you have to completely remove the module to replace it.
