Great video and review buddy! gorgeous place to do it as well, hell yeah.. I did ride a Multistrada 950 in lake Como Italy, I must say that I got in love with ADV motorcycles because of that and the 950 is a perfect bike for all kinds of use that you want. Greetings my friend \m/ Ride in peace
Lovely bike! Having had my handguards do their job on considerably more than a handful of occasions, I wonder how costly these with integrated turn signals will be to replace?
Have you had the 950 on a freeway type of road? Something like 70mph for a few hours? Curios about the vibration is that situation. Don't plan to do a lot of freeway riding, but at times I need to do so to get where I'm going.
Hi guys, my wife has a Multistrada 950 and I ride a KTM 990 Adventure. The sound of her stock Multi 950 is amazing and the vibes are minimal. I must say that you do feel vibration throttle seat but almost nothing through the bars and pegs. The stock foot and hand controls are set up for seated riding. The levers can’t be lowered much otherwise the mirrors point up to the sky. I find the foot controls way too low for off road riding in a standing position.
Мотоцикл стоит на центральной подставке и не заведён, при этом уровень масла в смотровом окне ниже минимальной отметки )) В Таиланде Мультик тоже кушает масло.
Ducati needs a HyperEnduro. Basically the same type of changes made to the Multistrada for better off-road strengths and manners. And by “Ducati” I mean “me”. 😅😂🤣😭
It's an odd philosophy at Ducati's. Building a Multistrada for the less experienced riders and don't insert the lean ABS which would assist especially those customers. And as the 950 and the 1200 will be operated in the absolutely same riding situations this decision is barely comprehensible. So beside the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 there is only the new BMW 850 GS which comes with the curving ABS in the 100 hp class.
Peter Parker: what ho Spidey! What on earth does cornering ABS do for me as a guy with 45 years of riding motorcycles in a fairly safe manner (except when I was a teenager when I could have done this it I’m sure)? I’ve had ABS on two of my BMW’s and I’ve never had it kick in (except when testing it on a gravel path just to make sure that it’s operating). Am I riding safely, or if you lean heavily on the electronics are your riding like a dick? Worth a thought!
Funny how basically a litre bike is "new rider friendly" now :) Saying that it looks a nice bike though a 600 would have been even better. Great video though.
If you ride 90% on road and only 10% off you can’t go wrong with the Multistrada. I find braking and shifting from the standing position awkward on the Multistrada and prefer my KTM 990 Adventure in off road situations. On road the Multistrada 950 is fantastic. JMHO
Very easy. They just pop out. I took the rear peg rubbers and put them on the front pegs. They're a bit thinner so I get a couple mm's of extra leg room.
I think that's the 1st time I've watched one of Jamie's films & not felt hungry after!
Jamie's lunch stops are hazardous to human health, every time.
Thanks for the thorough review. Really positive about going towards this riding season with this bike.. Can't wait for the snow to melt :D
My dream bike...Keep up the good work guys!
Nice neat bike. Love the stock exhaust, very er neat.
Thanks for 1:43 it's my background now

I would like to know this too, since I plan on buying one soon and would like to do some light weekend travels with my wife.

I did 12000km on my Multi950 last year, from I bought it in July to the end of the season. Vibrations never bothered me.
"Personally, I preferred its without the rubber"
Me too.. if you know what I mean ;)
I'll take the 950s.Plenty of poke for me.
Do the rebel 500

Agreed. If you want a bigger bike, buy a bigger bike. But, to argue that the 1290 over a 950 requires more experience is silly. Thumbs down.
I have no idea wich one to choose Africa Twin, KTM 1090 or Duc950. Have tried all and ? Jamie what is your favorite?
BMW 1200gs :)
950
Ducati 950

when you want to come here in Malaysia....?
Near
How tall are you?
Are those rubber inserts for the foot pegs easy to remove? Or will you require some good pull to get them off? Love the review and great camera work.
Looks like screw holes to me

No comments about HEAT? Thighs get VERY hot due to excessive heat.
