Well it can't be better than a GTI as its literally slower and sounds way worse. Got a 2.0TDI myself and love it to death for its fuel economy + decent power. But it just cant be compared to a GTI
@@Greenmould how so? only difference between 2.0TDI and GTD is Bigger turbo and injectors with a different engine map. I'm running 192hp stage 1 on my 2.0TDI and in theory is faster than a GTD because it makes 11hp and 27nm more

After how many km did you map It? I have the same engine with a bit more km than yours, I was thinking about the same map, Is anyway a good idea to take dpf/EGR off and with downpipe and stage 1? Even at that amount or km?
I made the map at 220,000km, and I sold the car at 330,000km without any problem, turbo was still perfect, i did check it..so if the car is maintained right and the oil is changed every 10k km you will have no problem.
So you can have egr/dpf off, or on and stage 1 and the car won t have Any problems. Mine is egr/dpf off, i did remove the dpf, egr is still in place just from software is off.

Salut! Cumpărată la 170.000… egr ul la 200.000 schimbat, și pe la 220k pompa motorina de înaltă presiune.. făcea Șpan, e “boala” lor, am pus alt model de pompa (cp3) și nu mai am avut nici o problema.
@@kerimaljovic4855 first the motor was not running nice because of the injector.. and then I did find some metal pieces in fuel filter… and i knew what i have to do. I did replaced the pump with an older model, but better, bosch cp3. That was 1 year ago, until now no more problems.

Do you have to remove DPF filter before doing stage1 or you can leave it and car won't have problems with it?
