He did clean up his act afterwards though but realise that his is not a rags to riches story as his publicists might have the world believe.
Normally a lowlife drug addict isn't even gonna be able to gain entry into hollywood let alone become a star.

It's like Kenny vs. Spenny. Robert is a guy who doesn't, seem to, have that process where he has to give an excellent answer, he's not anxious about it. Zach is always in top form, based on his own comedy, because he, from what I can see, enjoys satire, and thinking comedy. The fact that they are so opposite is what makes this hilarious. Robert Downy Jr. wouldn't seem like such an asshole, if Zach wasn't so different. It's like the difference between an active genius, and an appreciative thinking genius. They both have a great quality, better than Kenny vs. Spenny, in my opinion, but it's different in a way that makes their friendship funny.

Julian Gemmell thats quiet naive to be honest, no offense. they are acting in every interview they come out together for comedy purpose...? its really blatantly obvious that rdj doesnt like the guts of galifikakis, at all. its ridiculous how people make up senseless excuses how they would "act" in any interview on their movie. for what reason? to promote their movie and show off their talents? extras confirmed that rjd was insulting alex on set and told him infront of everybody on set that he needed to work on his acting. its quiet easy to see he sincerely dislikes him. its their own situation, their own quarrel. but I do not like how no matter what it is that alex as a co worker did or how he is wired, rdj is acting like a douche. guess a great guy with his co stars on the avengers and sherlock holmes, visibly seen on and off screen. but its pretty gross how he is making fun of alex being nervous, hesitant and a little slow when answering questions. thats some intimate personal level of insulting. I dont know their story and I dont care, if he doesnt like you he seems like a disrespectful, arrogant ass. i respect and like his characters a lot, but this type of behavior if you dont like someone is below most.

Ciel Fu exactly. RDJ even had Zach over for dinner. They were promoting a movie where RDJ’s character is suppose to be on Zach’s character. When you see the bloopers it’s obvious RDJ likes Zach and they got along great. I honestly thing the insults were to clown around. I have never seen RDJ be mean to anyone. Not his nature.

Guys RDJ just has an overly energetic attitude he's not a jerk he's just kinda rude because he talks A lot. He's still getting used to all the success he keeps getting. Remember he's been acting for 25+ years and he hit LOTS of rough patches and hes finally getting some consecutive success after 20 years of bad luck and bad choices. He's just overly happy plus at the time during this movie he was expecting a child while filming.
