I‘m honest, at this point I‘m at 2:49 . But I think long pips aren‘t that hard to understand. I don‘t know if you ate saying it in this video, but you can‘t produce spin with long pips, except your opponent gives you spin. When I‘m serving with straight backspin against long pips, I recognized that the ball is comming back with less spin or sometimes even without spin. What I would advice newer players when they are playing against long pips is, don‘t try out that much. If you have a good forehand against backspin and footwork, watch on which side are the pimples, is the opponent chopping and when yes, is he twitteling his racket. Even if you lose the first set, you gained lot of important informations about your opponent. So first set, test him out and all the stuff I said. And then you are ready. Make a short or long backspin or topspin service, what you prefer, be ready to step around. If he has his pips on the backhand and he is not twitteling, play in his forehand and you won‘t get heavy backspin (except he twittels fast enough). So get out there, follow these steps and win against long pips

So from what i've seen from the match against Mitch i hear that he is using anti, i might be wrong about that since i can't see the racket side for the pips. Coming from an all attack type of player(both forehand and backhand) I found the best way to deal with pips like anti and long pimples is to stay about 1-1.5 feet away from the table, that way you can always get back for a short ball and also have enough space to attack the long balls. Sometimes your technique can fall off due to stress or lack of confidence during the shots, in which case i try to use my footwork as best as i can, always doing small jumps so that i can at least adjust for the balls that might come, the thing with pimples is that you need to understand your own spin, then it gets a lot easier to adjust the stroke for each shot depending on what u want to do with the ball. As for a clear strategy to win against these type of players ... there isn't one you just need to start playing your game and understand the spin that u produce, after that it gets easier to play against these type of players. One rule that i find works often is that for the long pimples the amount of topspin you give on the ball is most likely the amount you get back( for long pimples players that play "with they're belly on the table" a saying from my club meaning they tend to play very close to the table and take the ball very early off the bounce, these type can be annoying to play against as you see them just holding the racket and you try and try and still end up in the net while they just hold one spot, take your time with the shots on these types and it's gonna be a win for sure) for anti spin it's a bit different because these can be quite tricky to play against because they can also use the anti to attack, if they do so be sure to not go forward on the shot as these balls tend to not have a lot of spin and they are gonna fall of the racket, the trick to get these balls back is to either spin them up a little or just play a semi lob, usually these rubbers are gonna give u less reverse spin when u do topspins or underspin so play a little more direct to end the point or make sure you're griping the ball more to the back of it. With short pips i tend to find there are 2 different types of it, ones that you can play with normally in practice meaning when they do a shot the balls tends to be quite normal for the return, and ones that tend to drop a little and have a bit of underspin on them on the flat shots.
If you're dealing with the normal type ones, the opponents are most likely gonna be able to attack very easily, in which case i find a half long serve to be a mistake against them because they are gonna attack it, long topspin servers are gonna work very nicely on them because they need to adjust the stroke for the speed of the ball rather then the spin which gives them a hard time if you can alter the flight of the serve to make it slightly higher or lower.
For the other type it's better to adapt a strategy i said for the people that play "with they're belly on the table" , taking your time with the shots because these ones tend to not attack as much with the pimple side and they rather smash or counter with the normal side.
Now the most important part is when u play against an opponent who has a good technique and is a defender meaning he is backing away from the table and can chop from far away, these ones are quite difficult to tackle down, because depending on they're type of reverse rubber( anti, long p, short p, medium p) they can either produce more spin to a shot or they can lessen the spin on it, these type tend to play 2-3 shots from close to table, if you're good enough to make them back away first, and then they're gonna chop your days away, taking your time on the shots and not risking can work against the weaker defenders but the ones that are good and trained are gonna counter the first ball the see is coming weak, sometimes this can be used as a tactic from the attacker to know when to counter a counter after giving an easy ball. I found the most effective strategy against these type of defenders is to just play your game, take your time for each shot, move fast around the table and don't be afraid to attack weak sometimes, the defenders can also make mistakes because easy balls are the hardest to adjust to because you treat them lightly. Also don't be afraid to try a few hard right of the bat topspins, sometimes hitting harder can be a solution to get back your technique.
That's all for now i hope this comment can help people understand how most of the type of inverted rubbers work and they're gonna get better against them, good luck getting sponsored by butterfly Nathan. And always practice, having fun is the most important part of winning against inverted rubbers😁
