Lok Sabha Polls 2024 Phase-4: Clash breaks out between BJP, TMC workers in West Bengal's Durgapur

There was a clash between workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Durgapur, West Bengal. According to TMC leader Ram Prasad Haldar, BJP workers with central forces arrived at 6 am and attempted to influence the voters. Both voters and TMC workers protested against it. Haldar also accused the BJP of trying to bring polling agents from outside, which the people of the area opposed. Meanwhile, the BJP claimed that TMC workers vandalized their stall outside a polling station in Birbhum.
