The way Brian just dissapeared i think it has to do with the whole "Lexa controversy". There's kind of a long list of LGBT characters on tv killed off for shock value to the point it has become a trope on its on and people complained. Now, the showrunner of The 100 didn't knew about said trope, the actress that played Lexa had scheduling conflicts so she was killed off, but ever since the controversy, the showrunner promised to treat their LGBT characters with more respect, wich is why, even when the guy thay played Brian also happened to have scheduling conflicts, instead of killing him, the character slowly fade into obscurity, probably leaving open the posibility of him returning.

Their relationship was horrible they were always arguing and Bryan tried to assassinate Roan which he knew would start a war that would wipe them all out. I honestly hate Bryan.
