*King Arthur: Legend of the Sword* will go down as one of the most underrated, mis-judged movies of all-time. With an epic soundtrack, wicked fast and fun cinematography, fast pacing, and awesome visuals, this movie will always be a classic for me. The Excalibur scenes alone make it worth a watch! It deserved well over $600 million in the box office, yet it didn't even break $150 million. That being said, it wasn't perfect. It definitely could've spent more time on character's back story (like giving the Mage an actual name, or actually showing Arthur's "up coming on the streets" instead of a quick 2-3min montage), and going into Arthur's trek through the Darklands, as well as why that trek was so important for him to embark on. But thank you, Guy Ritchie, for making a different, fresh, and unique King Arthur. My kids will know this movie, for sure!
OMG, Guy Ritchie made an awesome updated movie version of this classic.....it's been done so many times through the years....he nailed it though... the music was a match to the point of me almost jumping out of my seat and wanting to help in the dang fight scenes....it will be a classic for me add to my collection....peace out!!
The movie was great i agree, but the one and only reason critics reviewed it the way they did was because it had the title king arthur: legend of the sword. They were therefore expecting it to be true to the original story which of course it wasn't at all. Still an entertaining movie with lots of action!
Hans Zimmer's has that hit you int the feels and you can do anything about it but feel it, Daniels work on King Arthur has that hi finesse work to it that empowers you, kinda like how Arthur kinda got powered up after his meeting with the Lady in the lake and similar music was playing, i wouldnt say that they are competition against each other because they both have their own flair in their music and we dont really have a common ground to judge them together on, or i just might not know about it
The Counselor introduced me to Daniel Pemberton, The Man from Uncle put him on my radar, and now this film has cemented him as one of my favorite composers.
@@fordguyfordguy Wait, you mean to tell me that you didn't know for roughly 4 years(since the movies release date)that Daniel Pemberton did the score for Into the Spider-Verse😅? Side note: If you enjoy jazzy soundtracks from Mr Pemberton try his(& Dreamworks') The Bad Guys
The ironic thing is that, the people who gave this movie a bad rating in the first place, are now starting to praise the movie. This movie is definitely an all time great.
@@mattnar3865 To me it was an okay movie. There is a heroes journey and all but to me it's a bit lacking. To me it's not too easy but just easy for him to fight the main villain in one go.
Guy Ritchie knows his stuff, as usual! Is it the best spin on the legend? Probably not. Did the movie end up having zero self awareness? Yes! Does all this matter when the end result was enjoyable and fun? I think not.
Jak Agree! I am a fan of Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur and the Excalibur movie. This new Arthur movie put its own spin on the legends and mythos and did it REALLY WELL. Very underrated movie. I hope they make a sequel. The music is unique! Great movie.
Is so fast paced....there's not a moment where you can take a breath and reflect on what happened, no. its all GO GO GO, MORE MORE MORE. A story sooo differently told from the many others out there. I love it.
The music created magic along with Guy Ritchie direction and King Arthur role portrayed by Charlie Hunnam as well as child King Arthur artist was great. Loved this movie.
...first rented the movie then bought it....watched it five times in the past two weeks.....absolutely love it. there is something new we see/hear each time. just love it....
Hollywood has been corrupt for a LOOONG time. The biggest problem when this movie debuted was the political landscape caused by propaganda and the establishment that has deep roots in "Holyweird".
I guess we just have to make this film a cult favorite. Awesome flick. Original, creative, and worth the revision of the Arthurian legend. (Just wish there was more Merlin).
Channel Dr. T. Hasan Johnson The movie was set up for like 3 more of these. But since it didnt do so well at the box office it got canceled. We probably would have gotten Merlin and so much more in the sequels its a shame.
OMG right?! It got terrible reviews on rotten tomatoes, but I watched it one day and watched in full the next day too. The music kicks ace, too. Loved this movie!
It was a bit too over-board, a hodgepodge of magic/crazy movie effects etc. Even The Great Wall was better, and that movie is fcking crazy.... though not much in a bad way. But this was just kinda ridiculous. "King Arthur" is definitely better.
Omg. This music is sublime!!! Thanks to UA-cam, we can voice out our opinion too and not only the critics (haters) can do so. Bravo Daniel Pemberton and King Arthur Team!
When the exit doors burst open I walked on out of there alone with a grand smile on my face to let all these other people in the lobby know what they're missing out on I hope that the seats are gonna be packed full of people the next few times I rewatch this legendary movie!
The movie is awesome, the soundtrack even better, it fits percfectly on the movie, i regret i did not have time to see it at the movie theater but i will buy it on bluray, this movie must be on my collection
This movie surpased my expectation. This is not like the other adapations. This is another new perspective for the greatest legend ever told, specially from the direction of Guy Ritchie. Yet the score is absolutely groundbreaking.
It was supposed to be a six movie series. All the Arthurian legend characters that are missing from the first movie were supposed to be introduced in their own movie, then in the final sixth movie all the characters were supposed to come together for an epic battle against evil dark forces. Sadly the first movie was hated on by critics and that prompted the movie studio to cancel the entire project.
I'm stuck in the hospital, recuperating from a car accident. This is just what I needed. Thanks, Dreamy. Edit: Finally discharged. Got a long road and a lot of PT to go, but I'll make it. Thank you everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Love you all.❤️
Es la película que mas me ha encantado del Rey Arturo y la Espada, en esta si muestran el verdadero poder de Ella. Ya la he visto muchas veces y un me sigue encantando.
I finished watching the movie today and it was awesome!!! I would give the movie a 10/10 as the music and the fight scenes were incredible and the story line was spot on!
It wasn’t until my second time watching this movie that I realized how extraordinary this was. I don’t understand why people are very disappointed by the level of creativity put into this movie. It really sets a fresh new pace for the King Arthur story.
I never trust critics anymore, they seem to underrate everything except the crazy popular movies of questionable quality. King Arthur was epic and creative! It actually looked DIFFERENT than every other period film/show out there and I appreciate that. Not to mention the organic humour, amazing soundtrack and stunning camera work and fight choreography. And the snake!

I totally agree
I second this statement! Here, here!
Comedy Bros This movie was fucking amazing
you know what we can do? We can promote such amazing movie to our friends and family. I did and I hope they enjoyed the movie just as much as we do.
The music in this movie added so much atmosphere. Made me feel fucking excited. It's been a long time since a soundtrack has done that for me.
I KNOW RIGHT!?!
Sarf I agree with you, I've only felt this way since Penny Dreadful (series) soundtrack
Sarf this and mad Max soundtrack are the best so far for me

Angela Ziegler check out the Dark Knight Trilogy, basically movies made by Christopher Nolan and Game of Thrones and Westworld for T.V shows
This soundtrack is unbelievable 😍
Very true. Sublime
I agree 😘
Krista Ahonen just came home from cinema, nice movie but what impressed me most was this awesome soundtrack, superb!

Unbelievable indeed. He has outdone himself!
Charlie Hunnam is soooo good as King Arthur, such a brilliant film. I need a sequel!
Yes l agree Sequel
Me too
I totally agree it should have been some romance between Arthur and mage
Well I would have liked a sequel too but it got canceled 😭
Well, critics didn't let that happen :
Why the hell everyone throws shit at this movie. I think this movie was epic!
People now in days have poor taste and judgement

This is one of the most intense and perfect soundtracks ever created for a movie!
Just came out of the cinema, but every soundtrack in this movie already in my head.
THIS MOVIE IS FREAKING AWESOME !
Mirai Saki exactly. Wait, it's not awsome. It's PERFECT
THIS MOVIE KICKED ASS!!!!!!! There is no reason to dislike this movie!!!! Even the score for this film was exciting!!
This soundtrack must win oscar! Hans Zimmer has compettion! :)
dolik135 Wait for Dunkirk
dolik135 this soundtrack is good. But compared to what Zimmer has done?, It doesnt stand a chance
Let's not get over-excited here...

Jak the movie was god awful. You’re favorite movie of the year was probably avengers lmao. But damn the score is good
This track was something I remembered from the movie the most 😅❤️ perfect beats, perfect melody reminding of an old village, knights, kings and horses
Goosebumps. This is my fav track!
Gionardo Bruno is the KING!

One of the best songs in this great underrated movie. And beast song to start a workout! Especially legday, epicness cant be described....
When I hear this song during the movie was very exciting, combined with the initial credits. Thanks Guy Richie and Daniel Pemberton.
This is honestly one of my fav soundtracks of all time!!! Name one that beats it...i 💘 this
Very rarely do songs emotionally move me, but this made my breath catch and my heart stutter. Closed my eyes and had to let it wash over my senses.
Watched the movie again and man this soundtrack keeps that movie flowing! Love this soundtrack - one the best out there!!
i want Guy Ritchie to direct "WITCHER" live action movie. who is with me. :)
They're doing a tv series on Netflix, maybe they'll give Guy Ritchie a call.
