Legendary SoCal artists (Hed) p.e. have released their brand new single "Bartenders" with Dropout Kings featuring DJ Lethal from Limp Bizkit/House of Pain. The track is a reloaded version of (Hed) p.e. signature song "Bartender" off of the group's breakthrough album "Broke", which celebrated its 20th-anniversary last year.
The song is also the first single from (Hed) p.e. and Dropout Kings forthcoming new joint EP scheduled for this Summer. The EP pairs together the G-Punk pioneers with the Trap-Metal stylings of their Suburban Noize labelmates to create a powerful knock-out punch.
(Hed) P.E are the pioneers of the G-Punk sound, which fuses together punk-rock, metal, hip-hop and reggae. The band has toured the world for 20 years sharing the stage with the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, System of a Down, KORN, Tech N9ne, Tool as well as the original Black Sabbath on the iconic Ozzfest tour. (Hed) p.e. experienced a creative resurgence after signing with Suburban Noize Records in the early 2000s and was instrumental in developing the booming underground scene. The band recently released a new album “Califas Worldwide” in February via Suburban Noize Records.
After a Grammy consideration for “Best New Artist” and achieving mainstream rock radio success with the Linkin Park-leaning single “Virus,” the Phoenix band Dropout Kings have been on a high since signing with Suburban Noize last year. The band took their chaotic live show on the road with (Hed) p.e. and then Nonpoint and SAUL, before playing several radio festivals such as: KIWR 89.7’s “The River's End of Summer Bash” with an impressive lineup that included Machine Gun Kelly, WJJR's “Earth Day Birthday” with Shinedown, and many others. Dropout Kings recently released their new trap-metal rager “Hey Uh”, from their upcoming second album "Riot Music", coming later this year.

It's been a big honour laying down these guitars on such an iconic track. Respect to the OG's Wesley Geer & Chad Benekos who wrote these riffs. Cheers!
KILLED IT!
Great work on those guitars!
🔥🔥 sick
You just earned alot of respect in my opinion for giving credit to the og riff creators hell yeah man
The guitar sound is instantly recognisable as yours man, you nailed it 👌🏻
Immediately yes
Yes
We need a hed pe, dropout kings, and nonpoint song together! Some serious killers in the industry
This is one of my favorite songs, one they need to possibly make a remix of is serpent boy. That is my all time go to, that or wake up.
War
They got album available duo hed pe dok CD on suburban noize records pre order, few remixes on it
That whole album was dope.
That would be awesome
I have a serpent boy remix single from 1998 that has a label on it stating For PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY. Once I learn how to upload I will
Dopeeee DJ Lethal of House of Pain!! 🤘😎🎵
@Remy Dovianus nailed the guitars on this song, such an instantly recognisable sound which makes the song even more 🔥🔥
*Last time I saw hed PE was when this song just came out and they were on tour with Linkin Park... 20 years ago or so... I was the only kid wearing a hed pe shirt... Was at their merch booth. Jahred (MCUD) came up to me and gave me my first homie hug. It was a wholesome moment I'll never forget.*
Damn all that and you never checked any other show out? That's a awesome story though I only seen hed pe once and it was the shit
@@willd7809 they never came back to my hometown
@living with Perks -I was at that same tour... effin rocked. Hung with Mike Shinoda & Jahred. Then saw hed 6 weeks ago. Gave me the same chills. hed live is def. one that gives me all the feels.
Saw Hed (pe) in 1997 or 98. They played with Soulfly. Came off the stage and hung out with us. Good times, cool guys.
🖤I knew this was gonna be siiick!!!! Keep the collabs coming!! The old and new is a whole vibe with this kinda talent🙌🏼🔥♠️🔥
I was soooooo worried about this remake but HOLY EFFING CHIT - killer 🔥 and daaaayum - Farkin' LOVE it 💀🖤😎
Love it
Greet's from Poland🇵🇱
Hed PE are legends, but I wish Jahred would get the old band back together and write new songs that sound like this. None of the new hed albums stand up to Broke or Blackout
Or the 1st comercial album or Church of Realities... I agree tho. MAKE (hed) GREAT AGAIN!
So many people hate blackout but I freaking love blackout man haha
@@UnwrittenSpade HATE it??? WeiRdOs
Sandmine is fire, new guitarist has the old school sound down
They need to remix No Apologies imo live that is the best song in years however the album version sucks with the auto tune imo. Class of 2020 was good. But In my opinion New World Orphans and Insomnia are the best albums. Dont get me wrong those two albums were good to. But especially in these divisive times a curtain pulling message of unity against the globalists is more important than ever. Self Aware might be the best track they ever wrote imo probably has the deepest bass of any hed track as well. Seems theirs two camps those that want the party tracks and those who want the truth movement style that disappeared after NWO. Considering theirs open talks of NWO right now you would think he would want to touch on that again. Maybe they could do a album half of each style.
In 2017, i was one of those "I like everything except heavy metal" type of people. Then I listened to Enemy by Sevendust in 2018, then I started introducing myself to more nu metal tracks, and I can say that it SMACKS! (hed) PE is a legendary group!
Respect

It's great that groups like the Dropout Kings exist in 2022. Eddie crushed that verse. Ain't nothing like those late 90s-early 2000s Hed show though. Good fuckin times

Wow
So do you guys own the rights to broke?? What’s the deal with that?? I said like Seinfeld. Also if you’re going into the vault getaway would be a rad restoration project
Man I need the 2000's nu metal shit back. Need me more of this!
Whoopwhoop
DJ Lethal brought it on 💣🤘
That voice is TIMELESS! Hell of a remake of a classic
My favorite Christian band
Man not gonna lie I was pretty hesitant when I heard this was happening but this turned out wicked! DOK added some great vocals, sure the added verse is getting the spotlight(Eddie slayed it!) but Adams backing screams are sick af🤘🤘🤘 Lethal added some wicked accents and all around this is just 🔥 So glad Jah redid his vocals, his aged voice is unreal. Gonna go preorder this ep right now, and you all should too! Thanks for not only keeping nu-metal alive but injecting new life into it
Fantastic remix!
