Stay A Little Longer - Wolfmother (Clone Hero chart, Expert Guitar & Bass)

A throwback rocker by Wolfmother, part of the first Cloneasaurus Anniversary Pack; a collection of songs/charts by bands featured in my 125 song setlist released last year. I tried to pick a variety of old and new bands from different decades, something that represented the general variety of genres and decades in the setlist.

People have often claimed Wolfmother have just tried to copy Led Zeppelin and I've often made fun of that, stating that those people have clearly never heard the band Uriah Heep...but yeah, I think I might be joining them after this one. Definitely a lot of 70s Rock influence in here and whilst I still like the song and think it's fun to play in Clone Hero, Andrew Stockdale really needs to get a better engineer in who can actually mix a song properly. Either way, I liked charting this and especially enjoyed the creative problem solving of trying to chart the ascending riff after the first solo with only 5 frets. In the end, I opted for slightly altering the finger placement of each pattern so it feels like a progression as you play it.
