The emotion that Shahar put into delivering such a poignant scene really brought the words of The Bible to life. Thank you for that passion. Simon Peter was the perfect one to share what The Father revealed (in the show and in The Word). ❤😊
One thing that strikes me about Shahar's performance is how seriously he takes his calling and renaming. The audience can see how deeply Jesus's words penetrated his heart and soul, and throughout the rest of the episode we see him wrestling with the ideal "Rock" that Jesus is calling him to be, and the deeply flawed human being that he knows he is. I do believe that much of the three years of Christ's mortal ministry was intended to prepare his Apostles to lead his Church and preserve His name and incomparable mission to future generations. And The Chosen has presented many moments of preparation for the apostles, including Simon Peter, through certain experiences, intimate conversations, and many other moments.
I've always been a follower of Jesus but The Chosen has changed my Life. ✝️🙏💜 (This has not only profoundly impacted my Life but my entire family as well. Thank GOD and thank all of you💖💕).

The proclamation of the first Pope ❤
You got it!
One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Jesus' Church.
Jesus Christ was not born catholic, he was born God in flesh.
The first church called themselves " the way"
@@sussiea9221 No where does the Catholic Church ever claim that Jesus was born a catholic. That's as ludicrous as saying Jesus was a Christian.
@@sussiea9221 Of course, He wasn't born Catholic. Did someone claim that He was? I didn't. He was a devout Jew. Nonetheless, it is pretty evident that He did initiate the Church, which we know know to be called the Catholic Church.
JESUS IS KING
