In this video, I will show you how to draw an anime eye like a professional. This video is specifically for experienced/advanced artists who are tired of watching beginner tutorials and want to try something harder. I will show you step by step how to shade and detail. This only works for digital art since certain art techniques are only possible through computer. I mean you can try this in traditional, it'll honestly impress me.

Finally someone who knows not every tutorial is for beginners..
True. For 3d, I like "cg matter" because of that.
totally agree
Thank you for actually giving good advice and tutorials instead of “add details” and making tutorials that arent for art babies ive always wanted more advanced art tuts
The full open mouth burp like 10 minutes in really snapped me back to reality and made me pay attention. 10/10 tutorial would recommend.
I like this kind of tutorial. Personally I think this is a very beginner friendly tutorial because it breaks everything down from start to finish going from the basic shapes used to form the eye all the way to putting in details and doesn't just stop at a basic eye shape. Great explanation of tools used.
Yeah. Advanced tutorials are called timelapses lol
30:00 understood, thank you
ah yes, edging.
My favorite thing to do while drawing the eyes.
you MUST edge
Edging rn
😂
Great tutorial! Happy that theres not just tutorials for beginners nowadays!
Love the rainbow technique with the triangles.
not at this level yet but this kind of video is super helpful because i struggle to visualize how people draw such detailed pieces like this, so thanks for breaking it down
HEY!
I followed your video. Very fun and relaxing!! I'm not used to the blur tool since I don't use it when I usually draw but I had fun learning experimenting with your techniques!!
On thing to say is that Hair should always be "above" the eyelashes (referring to the thumbnail here)
what we can do if we want to retain the eyelashes while having hair in front is create a mask layer on the base color layer for the hair and use a soft eraser to create a translucent appearance and thus allowing the eyelashes to be seen through the hair.
The important part is that only the base color layer should be touched for this to work, shadows, highlights and lineart should not be erased. And since we used a layer mask to create the effect it's non destructive.
Other than that, really cool video as always
I may consider myself not advanced level at art...but I drew solely eyes for over two years, I have understood everything. Thank you for bestowing their knowledge onto me.
Watched an old video of yours and went to click subscribe, just to find that I already was. This purple shading do be lookin realistic. Time to see some eyeballs I guess.
This is what I was looking for. The most detailed in-depth how to I’ve ever seen❤ subbed
Ohh sweet! i was about to render my eyes 😂
Was always hoping for more advanced tutorials
my favourite artist im obviously subscribed to with a very good Gwen WIP he refuses to finish
Thank you for the illumination of my path.
I still feel like a beginner artist, but this clicked for me, thank you!
7:36 this man here😂
Only if there was a traditional artist with as good tutorials as yours
i couldn't believe i actually went through all the tut. it took me 1 hour
Me: studying my one of my favorite artists to figure out how they shape their eyes
Posts a video on how to do eyes
Me: Yippee! :DDD
Legit though this was super helpful (:
i should not be watching this while my phone is still charging, god I wanna draw
should I get a drawing tablet or just continue fingering it?
because I do feel like I draw lineart better when im drawing traditionally
how come i've never thought of using the blur filter for the hightlights rather than airbrushing it. Thats so usefull !!!!
I'M SO EXCITED TY FOR THSIS ILL TRY IT OUT AIENROJEKEK
Thanks for the amazing video 🩷
Best tut thanks ❤
10:58 is the transparent basic tool your custom brush that you linked?
2:10 traditional artists: you want me to use liquify? I did rather prefer redrawing it🤡🤡

Before I start watching, what's the point of eyes leaking into eyelashes?
It looks good. And it's Anime. Doesn't really matter, does it?
It shows that there is separation between the eyelashes, it looks like that especially from a front facing perspective
45 min tutorial? Like like like like
who else is going to do this although they are a beginner lol
I so want to practice your style, But damn I'm lazy
Nice
I think I might be colour blind :|

Anyone have any clue what the "Smudge" tool would be exactly here? (I don't have it in my list so I'm guessing it's something custom?)
