I was never a fan of the hidden strange little items. Someone suggested coloring those little items as if they weren’t there and that was brilliant because it opens up all the pages. I LOVE all your pages. Keep going because you inspire so man6 of us!
I love the artistry you bring to your pages! I'm also impressed by the amount of research/reference photos you do before you color. Kirby Rosanes is one of my favorites, but I find his books a little intimidating and have only done tutorials in his pages so far. Thanks for sharing and talking about your work.
Alena your colored pictures are truly works of art. Kerby drew the pictures, but you bring them to life. You should never second guess your artistic skills in comparison to what others have colored before you. You have mastered the art of coloring and then taken it to extreme levels. Kudos to you Alena! 🥰
You're such a beautiful artist 🤩. All your works are stunning 😍. You are the lighthouse of Egyptian art for me. Thank you for sharing your exquisite gift with the world. I love you 💝 and be ever so careful.
Alena, your coloring is beautiful and you’ve inspired me to try coloring Kirby. I’m not so advanced but I’m going to try. Thank you for sharing your work with me.
Thank you! I just like to do a small research about my coloring pages, animals or myths or other things I can learn from coloring, apart from enjoying coloring process by itself.
This was an absolute feast for my eyes and colouring addiction! Your commentary always entertains ... so even though I have seen these all before (I stalk you to the end of the digital earth because I am a hopeless fan) I thoroughly enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the books and illustrations as well as how you approached them. I too cheered when I saw you still able to colour. Im so happy you can be distracted a bit from the insane reality of war ❤ You are funny (ugly, purple multi-headed invading beast) thoughtful (to care for the doomed darling elephant), and intelligent (great command of language, knowledge of literature and interested to always learn). I love listening to your beautiful voice and appreciate everything Ive learned fron following you. Stay safe dear Alena. Thank you for everything you share with us.
Wow your so talented, im loving all ya completed pages. Your such an inspiration and I can’t wait to see you colour many more Kerby pages. I love ya skys you create, this is one area I really struggle, ya Gallops Island page in Fragile Worlds is superb. Could you maybe do a video showing how you did the amazing sunset skies, cheers Ness xx 😊
They all turned out gorgeous. You see that you take a lot of time to figure out the colors. It all just works. Do you have a tutorial on how you use white acrylic paint on the water?
You color beautifully! I wish I could color as good as you! Oh and I wanted to mention that I am having trouble hearing you even though my volume is turned all the way up. I think your volume is set too low. I don't know if other people have this issue or if it's just me lol but I can't hear you very well. Just wanted to let you know! Also, I love Kerby's work too, but I only have Worlds Within Worlds. I haven't colored in it much because I find that on a lot of the pages I'm using just brown and green, and the only place I get to add other colors is on the backgrounds. I like to use many different colors and I get bored quickly when I'm coloring so much brown and green! But anyway, thank you for sharing your beautiful finished pages and a few WIP's with us! You are very talented!
18:46 Hi! I really love your art! I’m new to drawing and coloring so I have spent a lot of time on UA-cam trying to learn from others. Your art is so inspiring to me and I learn a lot and I always turn to your channel because your beautiful colors and intense backgrounds. Every page is so full of life and drama. I just realized your from Ukraine and maybe the terrible war with life and death so present expresses through your colors. and I wanted to say I appreciate everything about your country and the fight for democracy. I’m from Sweden and wish with all my heart the war will end soon and you will feel safe and free. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦
In the Fragile World "book belongs to" spread here are the plants (all endangered or threatened) that I know off the top of my head: * The trees at the far left are baobab trees. Adansonia grandidieri, a baobab species from Madagascar. * The tree in the middle is a dragon blood tree, Dracaena cinnabari. * The shorter "tree" next to the dragon blood tree on the right side is alula, Brighamia insignis, native to Hawai'i. * The flowers in the upper right hand corner are jade vine, Strongylodon macrobotrys, which has turquoise colored flowers rarely seen in nature! * (Maybe?) The flowers with the puff-ball with hanging petals in the lower left corner may be some kind of coneflower, Echinacea sp. Several species are threatened or endangered, such as the smooth coneflower, Echinacea laevigata, which is a pretty good likeness. But this one I'm not 100% on. * (Maybe?) Right behind those flowers there's a spiky kind of flower that might be a Heliconia species, but I am not very familiar with them. * The plant with the bug on it on the left page and the spiky bits is a Venus flytrap, Dionaea muscipula. * The huge flat flower at the bottomof the right page is Rafflesia arnoldii, sometimes called the stinking corpse flower. * The tube-shaped plants on the lower right hand corner are Sarracenia pitcher plants. I believe it is Sarracenia oreophila, the most endangered of all the American pitcher plants. * (Maybe?) Behind the Sarracenia there are a couple of spikes of flowers that *might* be wild lupine, Lupinus perennis. Their decline is also the cause of the decline of the Karner blue butterfly. There are other endangered lupine species as well. Another one I'm not 100% on, there's just not a lot of detail and lots of flowers can look like that. I'm not sure what most of the scattered smaller plants are, though I'm sure some of them could be identified easily. Some I think would be harder, though, because of a lack of detail. I do think at least a couple might be bromeliads of some sort, but I could be wrong!
the plants and trees on the fragile world name page are: baobab tree , the tree in the middle is a dragon blood tree , the big flower is a rafflesia flower ,flowers in right top corner are a nepenthes the long kelk flowers are pitcher plants and i also see the venus fly trap plant .
OMG, you are a life saver! Thank you so much 💜💜💜 I haven't heard about 80% of plants from this list, it will be so interesting to color them. Thanks again for your help 🙏
Thank you! No, I don't have Alien World. I decided that with so many uncolored pictures in previous books I can't justify spending money on another one.. Maybe sometimes later.
Do you still use your budget pencils? The page with plants in Fragile worlds are carnivorous plants. The one in the foreground on the right is a plant that blooms I think about every 20 years and smells like a decaying corpse. The one on the left is a Venus fly trap.
Thank you, thank you so much! I will try to find the rest of the plants. Yes, I still use my budget pencils grom time to time, but not in Kerby's books. Here I mostly film detailed coloring videos and I use more popular pencils like Prismacolor or Polychromos for people to follow.
Wow such beautiful work! You point out things you are not quite happy with and I love them 🙈 all your work is stunning!
I just love all your colored pictures Alena! Thanks so much for sharing them with us all! 💚

Such beautyful work, loved everyone❤️
Your pages are just stunning - thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for watching!

Such beautiful pages! ❤❤❤
This is stunning. You turn these books in to magic ❤️
Thank you! I love Kerby's latest books and it's a big pleasure for me to color them
I love how much you love and understand animals and how this interprets into your colouring art ❤️
Thank you! I just like to do a small research about my coloring pages, animals or myths or other things I can learn from coloring, apart from enjoying coloring process by itself.
Ooh my gosh Alena, they are beautiful. The eagle is my favourite. This is professional level.
Thank you! I enjoyed coloring eagle a lot, I tried to show all color accents of his feathers, from light grey and beige to brown and dark grey
Your work is always an inspiration for me. You manage to do amazing work with so many different mediums. Thank you for sharing your talent

World within Worlds is my favorite but Fragile World is a close second. I followed your tutorial for the eagle and dolphins. Awesome pictures, Alena!
All your pages are beautiful, Alena, but the iguanas and crowns pages are particularly special to me! & your WIP in Mythic World is looking amazing!
Alena You are a wonderful colorist, you have a lot of talent
Your pictures are awesome! 😊 Quit being so hard on your self. I love Kerby Rosanes books too. They are intimidating but you are doing great. 👍
Beautiful Alena ❤ love the way you color. Since I am not a real fan of pages with people (goddesses etc) these Kerby pages are my favorites.
Absolutely love your work.

When you turn to the butterfly picture, I went. Oh my gosh that’s beautiful wow and then you said nothing special. I could’ve died.😂
Oh I so wish you had done some more tutorials on any of the kerby rosane books! Please please😢
They all turned out gorgeous. You see that you take a lot of time to figure out the colors. It all just works. Do you have a tutorial on how you use white acrylic paint on the water?
