21st Century Limited met Trainiac Productions this weekend to chase CSAO YPMO-R1, a local that works every Sunday in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. At the beginning of this video, I included a clip from an earlier chase from October which I wasn't successful with. That train included Conrail Quality 5286. This weekend's train had NS 5287 and 5283, both GP38-2s. Note that the second unit is labeled for "Dover, NJ." We first see the local switch out a center spine from a lumber distribution facility before continuing to the Staley Corn Processing plant. While waiting for the train, we saw a good mix if action on the Northeast Corridor, crossing the Delaware River to and from Trenton. R1 then came to our position where, as it snakes under the NEC, it interestingly travels down the middle of the street, luckily for me under beautiful lighting. After about 20 minutes, the train left the Staley plant and headed back to Morrisville Yard. On the return trip, we rode along side on S Delmorr Ave. (I got plenty of puzzled looks while I stood with my upper body out the moon roof with a video camera).
It was a very successful chase. (Something that could not have been said about the chase in October!) I owe a huge thanks to Kyle at Trainiac Productions for all of his help. Please take some time to check out his channel if haven't already done so, it is well worth your time! / trainiacproductions
That was an awesome video! This is on my list of places to video for sure!
@RailfanTube Thanks! Its just the one track. Its a short branch that comes out of Morrisville Yard and ends at the Staley plant, just past where the train runs down the street
Awesome chase man! I loved our chase back in October, that was a bunch of fun (only sucky thing was the tripod/camera stuff but this video makes up for it.) Keep up the great work!
Awesome! I want to get to this area SO bad but I live in Indiana. How many tracks streetrun under stone arch bridge? Truly amazing.
@SuperStarRendon Thanks!
@RailfanTube O alright I know what you mean now. (I thought that was an off question haha). But yeah I agree, its such a unique place. PRR was a great railroad (the branch was also PRR in addition to the NEC). And thanks for subscribing!
very nice, like the chase at the end
@KyleVideoDesigns Thanks! You know it. Its a pretty cool place.
Sweet video, Kevin! MO-R1 is a really neat train to chase!
@trainfilming26 Thanks!
Excellent!
@boberttrain831 Thanks Bob!
Didn't think trains still went down there.
Epic video Kevin!
@trainutjob Thanks!
Great video, man!
@21stCenturyLtd Sorry. I mistyped that lol. I meant how many tracks anywhere have ever streetran underneath a stone arch. (I'm not sure if you know. I was just voicing my thoughts lol) Thanks for the reply though. I'm going to Subscribe!
Awesome Video! I like the chase!
Hey friend, I spend alot of time in that area on the canal trails on both nj & pa. I'm assuming that those trains and that railyard is south of the Calhoun St Bridge. Am I correct? I haven't seen any trains in that area so Im curious. Ive recently become a railfan and went to Altoona, Gilitzen, Horseshoe curve and I stayed overnight at the Station Inn in Cresson last week. Had a blast. Anyways, great video.
@erickuhl215 Yep, still do. Every Sunday
@meMarky45 Thanks!
Hey! What about this train movement in 2021? Still working?
OMG SO SLOW!!! lol good video!
@koasterkidd But its a good slow... haha, Thanks!
hey. i live there!
@CSXACe Thanks man, and yes, significantly better hahaha
That would explain why I don't see them LOL.
