Thank you Jakub,
Your videos are very helpful for us beginners in Luminar Neo. Keep making great videos.
Thanks,
Glad you like them! Thank you for your support!
Very informative as always thank you.
Thank you for your support as always Tony 😍
Great explanation. Thanks
Thank you very much for a lovely comment.
Thanks for great educative video.
Thank you for a lovely comment... I am here to help.
Your vid is terrific! I'm coming back to PC editors after using top phone cameras so easy but lack the res, even though the target publishing is social media.
I have gigs of reaal-camera images that I want to tune and share, this vid is great to reinforce the knowledge that has become stale in my mind from lack of use, and, very nicely introduces a couple of new options for exporting our edited files! cheers!
Dear Nick, I appreciate your kind words and I'm pleased to hear that our videos were beneficial to you. We continuously post new videos on our channel, so keep an eye out for them. If you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Great video , thanks ;)
You are welcome, Darius. I hope it was helpful... 😉
@@CleverPhotographer it really was 👍
Muchas gracias.
You are welcome.
Hello Jakub, I was wondering if you have made or would consider making a video on how to print from Luminar Neo. For example, at times I need to print a custom size to fit into pre-existing frame. In addition can you print multiple images on one sheet as you can do in Lightroom ? Thank you
That's a great idea Tony, I will research and let you know 😉
This is one of the features of Qimage. It will also rearrange on a roll of paper and automatically adjust the roll length
This is part of my printing process. Windows will only print 8bit colour, but with a program called Qimage Ultimate Windows can simulate 16bit images, which eliminates any banding seen in printed sky. It also has many other functions.
See a recent podcast by Jose Rodriguez where the developer of Qimage talks about the program.
Hi John, thank you so much for your comment and great set of handy information. We will definitely check the Qimage software.
@@CleverPhotographer There is no u in Qimage. It’s other great benefit is it prevents double profiling of the print. Qimage 1 is Mac and Windows version with less bells and whistles than the ultimate version. Macs can print 16 bit images natively. The software continues to function after the licence period which can be extended for about £20, or for £40 it is updateable indefinitely.
Great! We will definitely have a look,@@johnfletcher1036
@@CleverPhotographer Just checked that there is a 14 day trial period.
@@CleverPhotographer Qimage is having a 4th July sale. See Jose Rodriguez post of today, ordering through Jose’s link will get an even larger discount.
Hi Jakob - great video as usual.
I like doing composites and often want to go back and adjust/improve what I've already done. I save as TIFF files on to my drive but if I open again in Neo, the file appears as a TIFF file but doesn't show all the layers I used prior to saving.
What am I doing wrong please?
Hi AJ, thank you for your comment and your question. To continue the edit, you must keep the file in Luminar NEO. Exporting to TIFF results in merging all the modifications and layers into one file, and you cannot edit them further.
@@CleverPhotographer Thanks for this - but what file location do you select so as to keep it within Neo?
How do ya get the photos on the app.
Hi, I am not sure if you are asking about Luminar NEO, or the mobile app?
I'm using Luminar Neo in Lightroom plug-in. There is no more that apply button?
You are right, SFotAri. When you use Luminar NEO as a plug-in, you will not be able to export your image, as shown in this tutorial. However, we have some other exciting tutorials on our channel that will be helpful even for plug-in users 😉
@@CleverPhotographer Ok, thank you.
Hello Jakub, I am unable to export files after edit. It is forever showing "preparing" but it doesn't go beyond that. It has started after I updated to Luminar Neo Ver 1.4. Earlier, it was fine, though it was taking a bit longer to save. I removed and reinstalled but still not working. Please help
Hi Suresh, can you try to export a simple JPEG without any edits and see if that goes or not. If it doesn't then we can look at it.
I tried that. Still not going through. Thanks
hello, HOW BEST is it to export the file to social media such as facebook, because the attempts end in a fiasco and Ludize points out that it is of poor quality and not sharp, you can see artifacts after processing in luminar, the skin of the face is not as it should be after trying to smooth it, it shouldn't be like that , I will also report the problem to luminar neo directly, in the LR program there is no such problem and the photos are simply sharp on facebbok or instagram
I will try to create a tutorial on how to do that in future. Thank you Lukasz for the idea.
I do not see this catalog screen
Hi, I am not sure if you are asking about Luminar NEO, or the mobile app?
It's called skylum
What on earth is wrong eith neo after I have made a photo with few extra things it will not export it. Been doing it for over an hour. Pic another photo takes 2 min
Sorry to hear that. I would recommend contacting Skylum's customer support if you have any technical difficulties.
what if export is greyed out
If you can't export, I would check with the support 👉 skylum.com/support/contact
