Korean Temple Stay Experience as a Foreigner

A Korean Buddhist Temple Stay has been a great way for foreigners have been able to discover and experience a unique culture in Korea for the past 20 years. I have always been a bit concerned however to go on one as I am not a Buddhist and generally get turned off by very religious or high-pressure situations but I finally decided to give it a go. Here's my honest impression of this experience and if it's something I'd recommend to others who are other religions other than Buddhist.

Amazing, thanks and surprising about your comments about schedule, I thought it is always the case for such activities... very nice! Is that paid stay? If so how much was it for you? Also nice people seems like from all over the world.

I think some places charge but we didn't have to pay anything. Chris's friend even stayed a whole month because he was going through a hard time and the monks just asked he gets up at 5 and goes to the prayer. Buddhist temples are a place of sanctuary for people and they even share the food for free to those in need
