I can just imagine a sorcerer attempting to burn a bunch of human prisoners to a crisp, only to be met with mockery for still believing in such childish things as magic. Fast forward, and the sorcerer sits on the ground crying, desperately trying for the hundredth time to channel magic, while being bullied by a bunch of tied up humans, and one of them sitting besides him and patting his head.

i would love to hear the human side of the human resistance to sorcery. yea we killed a bunch of enemies. was it hard? No, easy in fact...for some reason they believe in magic...i think, they did a bunch of hand wavy stuff as we killed them. nothing happened of course but still, this is easy.

@@themrcrow2901 well, Allah is just how Muslims and people who speak Arabic call God (Arabic Christians literally call God Allah because it's the equivalent in the language), and I'm quite sure Jehovah is just another name/title/word for God as well, since as far as I can remember the Jehovah witnesses are also part of the abrahamic religions family (I think that was the name of the family at least, my memory is kinda shitty, think like, Christians, Muslims and Jews for example) and they have basically the same basic scriptures (you know, the old testament, that has Adam and Eve and all of that). Buddha is definitely and absolutely a different deity though. Not related at all with the other two.

I feel if humans had a god, they would immediately kill it, I mean think about it all stories with gods people always have people who go against them like the Olympian’s, if anything the only go we worship would be Lady Luck

But humans for the most part don't pay attention to why/how she influences the world except in as much as we notice when our actions earn us a small personal favor from her, whereas death, war, and trickster gods all get very serious attention even from those who don't believe in God or gods simply in how we strive to learn everything we can from these gods and apply it to our own lives.

Luck while resurrected in some places and times is rarely so influential that history has traces of her everywhere, death, war, and trickster gods pop up almost anywhere you look, and even when you don't find them that's generally because history doesn't mention leaders praying to gods before battle all that often, not because they didn't but because it was so common sense back then that recording it simply didn't occur to anyone back then. After all if you're about to go into battle depending on circumstance you'll pray to at least one of those gods who could provide knowledge or strength or look the other way when it comes to your men and pay extra attention to the enemy enough to improve your ability to win.
