JAL's service is definitely up there with the best and I've never had a bad experience with them. I wouldn't say they stand out too much though - they just provide a solid, no-nonsense, clean service and there's nothing wrong with that.

If you fly on the business class, JAL is not recommend at all. Boarding priority lane is longer than economy class. No priority security check at Haneda. So frustrating. The reason is complicated. They have tough competition against ANA in Domestic flight. They give superior card by number of boarding. In order to get the superior card, some passengers change flights unnecessary to reach the destination. By one trip they get four times flight. By accumulating 50 flight, they can get a superior card. In order to get the same card by international, we must pay at least ten times more. Therefore superior cards are over issued. Even I had the business class ticket, I could nor enter the lounge in the past. You have no advantage before the boarding. The lounge is over clouded. No security priority, no priority boarding. The superior cards domestic passenger are making long line beside you always. In Japan, there are so many domestic flights even though it is small country. For JAL, frequent passengers are more important than the international business class passenger. If you fly on the business class, be careful for this. The business class is always full due to upgraded passenger who had some superior cards.
@@iaexo Not rude at all. Other countries have replaced whale products in order to preserve a wonderful species. Japan chooses not to for no good reason at all. They also slaughter dolphins on a regular basis, which is one of the reasons I would never go there. Watch The Cove and you'll be sickened by their cruelty to a highly intelligent animal.
