Seeing olexa struggling to understand how the farm animals function was difficult to my soul
I was yelling at the screen the whole vid
Same
i'm just half listening. what is it he get's wrong? Isn't it just animal eats crop and you get animal value. so a pig gets you a profit of 9-2(buy)-crop value?
@@tschichpich Yes, but they don't all just eat one crop. All this time, they grew because the pigs have diagonal adjacency as well, and they were eating other crops as well, they were NOT just eating one crop.
That's his mistake
And in the last episode the pig on the left ate the mushroom to its left instead of the carrot
Glad we got a second episode of this!
Came here to say this!
So Farmers can do 2 actions per day, a tile needs Sold>Tilled>Planted>Water so you need 2 Farmers hitting each tile to be hitting a full cycle at a cost of 4 coins per day with no energy cost. P for plot of land, F for Farmers, W for Windmills, M for Markets.
This pattern should let you hit a good factory level farm that only costs money to run and is repeatable left and right with no issues. (other than getting materials for the Markets and Windmills) At the Start of the game just start the middle plot farmer plot next to the 3 starting plots to the left or right and you can build out whatever on the up, down, and opposite directions while the money making farm slowly grows (I'm thinking a mushroom area and a ranch area)
M|W|M|W|M
P |P | P| P| P
F | F |F | F |F
P |P |P |P |P
M|W|M|W|M
Edit odd spacing on the little chart
Swap the middle farmer for something else. Like another plot (even if you lose W/M bonus).
@@jimmyh2137 Well, if you're going for Wheat that would be a great spot for a Bakery. I choose to just go with all farmer's because they cost only coins so it's really easy to setup. If you are going to extend this pattern out and use Bakeries or something else in those spots it would be Start F|F|B|F|F|B| and just repeat F|F|B on wards as far as you want.
You’re forgetting the tavern which gives farmers double the action points. The 33% bonus to wheat from the tavern doesn’t matter if you’re rocking markets but it lets you do F|T|F and you can compress the space needed.
You all hope him to use that when he misses to understand that 1 plant only can feed 1 animal for 2 episodes. 😂 The bar is set too high. Just like the comment above so he can read it.
@@Ners79 Taverns cost more resources while the Farmers are just gold, I'd rather spend the resources on the Markets / windmills instead of getting more taverns
You should totally do the boss difficulty! Higher difficulties aren't JUST more days. There are other modifiers
Runs would get sooo long though
@@OlexaYT I mean, you could definitely cut out the more boring stuff if the runs get too long. Especially the start which certain can't vary that much
@@swordzanderson5352 idk, mans was too lazy to even put a video in the description so I doubt he's gonna be willing to edit an hour+ vid lol
I just don’t edit my gameplay for let’s plays. Been doing long form content for ten years
@@OlexaYT But just give it a try. Boss difficulty is very hard because the rent is like so much higher that you won't get that far. If you play it the first time you won't complete all 52 days, (I think so because of my own experience). Its really a challenge if you would like that.
I love that Olexa puts farmers to continue to plant crops themselves. From what I've seen, planting things yourself costs a lot of energy, when a farmer can do most of the work for 2-4 coins. And it seems that building that take resourses to produce other resources (like livestock, bakery, tavern) are the way to go. Also pumps to refill the weels doesn't sound like bad thing. Anyway, this is a comment from someone who only watched you play the game and you went very far, so congrats on that
I'm about 4 hours in but what ive learned is building out dedicated sections off the corners is the best start. Right now im shooting for 3 or 4 sets of 8 sunflowers around 1 market. You dont need ponds because the daily rain is op, and the tractor is great. A mushroom farm and cheese farm, etc. all focusing on the 3x3 around high money multipliers flanked with farmers.
Still enjoying this and look forward to seeing you play more, please.
These were the first videos of yours that got recommended to me in forever and I’m glad that I’m back
There are rabbits in overalls and space for Olexa rambles, it’s a winner in my book.
Very nice second episode, I enjoyed these two play throughs a lot as well as your commentary.
So sad you got DMC'd. Thanks for making another episode! Hope it does great!
We need a series please 🥺
Great video as always though great job
Great Video dude. Just subbed to you. Have a nice evening!
Love the game! Thanks Olexa!
Please do more of this!
farm keeper gets me into a chiller plane if existence, its so dope. except for when olexa ignores pumps while desperately needing stamina. then i rage a little :)
I love this!! Thank you
Hi i love the video, just wish the music was like 20% quieter, it was difficult to tune it out and listen to you, but otherwise i loved the video and am excited for the next one
So glad you played this game again
I think the mushroom logs are the meta. you only need 8 wood for the initial fee (possibly less with free tiles) and a buck to generate 120 coins, which is easily doublable with the market. Just four of those are enough to generate 480 per *turn*! The chickens must(?) be paid a potato's worth for 12 a day, and the cake must wait for 3 days (or less with windmill) for wheat, making it little more than 9 a day.
Awww yisss man I love this game keep making some more!!! I'm so glad we got a second episode!!
I would love this to be a series!!
Glad to see an ep. 2!
I realized why I fell in love with your content. Its because you're smart :p
Came across your channel because of this game, id like to see more!!
He also did a series on "Another Farm Roguelike" which is similar!
@@jamesm4247 just finished watching that series too lol
Yay! This game seems like so much fun!
I've realised I've been Pabloing myself to crave sweets whenever I get a notification that you've uploaded (today's sweet is dark chocolate with dried blueberries)
That's a game I could watch you play forever~
If you didn’t buy 1 fisherman you would’ve won, that’s unfortunate
That or the planter pot. RIP stone.
My wife is tired of me getting game recommendations from Tyler, she always says he's the Alexa guy who says okay a lot
Love seeing this game dont why just nice to watch
thanks for the video
Surprising to see game music being DMCA'd anymore... specially for som'in like this.
yes i love it ❤
please play more please
I don't like it à lot but if u live ig he have to continue 🙄🙄🙄❤❤
Can confirm chickens are indeed poggers!
The most and only efficient play I see in this video is the placement of the water tile xD
Olexa congrats on 100k subs 👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉😱😎😱🎉🎉
it seems to me that pigs are silly like you said.
Pig sells for 9, takes up one space for two days (where you could have gown a carrot) eats ANOTHER carrot, and then also costs 2 gold. netting 7
If instead we grow a carrot where the pig would live, keep the carrot the pig ate, and don't pay for a stinkin' pig. We net 8 gold.
8>7 for the same amount of time, in the same amount of space.
Great game if you play more the flowers where just better then flower if they worn being turned to bear or bread because you can get 2 harvests of flowers in a pay cycle where only one of flower because of grow time
Boss difficulty IS significantly more difficult than Challenge. I beat Challenge on my second try, but it took me like a dozen or more failed attempts at Boss to finally beat it. It’s a real challenge.
You forgot the link in the description 😢
@13:12 the pigs never did, the chickens never will
One thing to consider... Collecting the pig doesn't consume stamina. Collecting plants does.
Chimpkim
Needs more Rabbits.
You won in my heart brother
Farmkeeper my beloved
Bee apiary reminded me of apico now I'm sad
Someday I’ll go back and continue my bee empire
The bees make you bank. So does the medicine. But the medicine doesn't cost any energy. Currently my build is to go hard on corn with a weather station, strategic windmills, and strategic food markets. My best was netting around 3,000 per turn. But for the hardest difficulty I think I'm gonna need an even more broken build so anything strat thoughts I'd be happy to take.
haha. i wanted this. i dreamed of this. we got it
Episode 3 pls

Herbs are literally one of the best strats, u did em dirty by saying they not great :C
The beginning explination to how i understood is for 2 tiles of carrots is +8. A pig and a carrot is +7. -2(buy pig)+9(pig grown)= +7 and the +4 for the carrot doesn't matter because it gets consumed
TLDR carrots give +1 more coin for 2 tiles then having one pig.
But ranch tiles are different than empty tiles. So you can’t really compare it to the +4 carrot. It only uses 1 tile for growing, + you use fewer energy to harvest
@Ners79 I understand that, just was trying to help anyone understand what I believe he was trying to explain. But yes, there are other better options with what you have on hand with the ranch tiles.
does anybody know how to make crows consistently spawn?
Lets do antother one :)
You had quite literally just barely enough space if u sold ur chickens the second u got the tomato quest, and planted every single space with tomatoes, AND placed the free tree u got at the end right next to the windmill, you had enough space to get just barely enough tomatoes in time and build the mansion on the day that rent was due
And if a dog had a square ass it’d shit bricks
@@OlexaYT I- what... I just mentioned this cause I was surprised after doing the math. I didn't do the math on the energy tho, idk if you'd have enough to pull it off or not, just thought it was interesting. I apologize if I offended/upset you, that wasn't my intention..
No worries my guy you good
we need moooreeeee
bro the fruit tree is free animal feed with no action
I would be too tired to work too if you only have me 1 coin to do some farming work 😂
Bruh if you had done water tiles instead of ranches and used ducks instead of chickens you would have saved sooooo much energy on watering
Gimme a third one! Im hungry
bruh, pump refils wells, extra actions, and dont do animals till you get feeding trough
You act like I’m supposed to know every little component of a game I have an hour and a half in lmao
Turkey
22 minutes. It took him 22 MINUTES to figure out that chickens can't duplicate potatoes.
Oh no… anyway
I'm so interested in this game because of you. I'm here in the Philippines, mobile gaming is king. Pls tell me there is an idea for Mobile version of this. Can You tell the devs for us? mobile Farm Keeper.

WHY DO YOU HATE THE PUMP?! THE WELLS ARE SO GOOD
🐄
Only 13 minutes into the video but the animals all eat different adjacent tiles, not the same tile
Mulritiple animals can't eat the same food
animals eat in a 3x3 so like this A is animal and B is eating
B B B
B A B
B B B
and then it turn into a whole new series of olexa plays ;3
Because of you I bought the game... it is making me less productive.
I enjoyed the video but some of the misplays are just too much bro
It wasn't good because you assigned a lack of value to things that you didn't even know the function of. You placed the tavern to buff the farmers, which turned out to be a money maker. Then you assigned no value to the bakery, which made even more money. You got so caught on what you thought would be the best that you ignored what was actually making you money. lmfao
