- STRIDE + SWING PIANO SUMMIT 2008 in Switzerland. Louis Mazetier played this "Fats" Waller Medley (Ain't Misbehavin', Squeeze Me and Up Jumped You With Love) at "Alte Kirche Boswil", Saturday, October 25, 2008.
This is the type of jazz that lights up my spirit. Louis Mazetier is my generation's stride pianist extraordinaire!

That´s swing! The difference between to play the keys and to construct a masterpiece. Before jazz, Joplin wrote "play slow and with swing". This is the fantastic result. Congratulations and thank you for sharing!!!

You played this very well, but sorry, you are no Fats. Loosen up a bit and put more personality into it. You didn't miss any notes, but next time, don't be so stiff. Have some fun with it. As our boy Fats would say, Yass yass yass!

Who keeps making stupid noises in the background? That's the only thing I dislike; his playing was amazing!
Some pianists hum along as they play. Willie The Lion Smith did this too if you listen to recordings of him playing. The noises you're hearing are from Mazetier and the mic is just picking up the humming.
