So, I haven't seen the episode yet, but I'm just here to say I CALLED Abby & Tommy from the moment Tommy was officially re-introduced last season. I knew the writers were going to use that at some point.
It’s weird Abby mentioned Tommy but she never said they were engaged I just assumed they just dated but broke up cause she had to take care of her mother also when we saw Tommy in those 2 flashback episodes he never mentioned her nor did she appear in them
I don't think it makes that big of a difference whether Abby or Tommy were engaged or just dating - either way the way Abby spoke about him it was a long term relationship. As for Abby not being mentioned in any of the Begins episode - first of, Tommy's role in them wasn't as major that we would need to know about his personal life and I think chronologically most of them (except for maybe Bobby's) would be before his relationship with Abby anyway. So I don't see that as a plothole. And I agree with the other comment I don't think the Tommy connection with Abby was ever intentional, but they decided to use the coincidence of naming Abby's ex Tommy when they realized the potential for bringing the two Tommy names together.
Who is this guy that portrays Josh? He seems to be doing a good job in being a good boss to Maddie and a good mate to all. He should be in the main cast.
Was Josh foreshadowing the break up of Tommy and Buck, by saying “Unless there is another boy.”??? Does he know that Buck potentially likes Eddie more than just as friends??? OMG this episode was amazing and i’m going insane over that ending!!!!!
I have not watched this last episode yet, but I am spoiling myself anyway. Here we go! First off, I remember the theory floating around that Abby’s Tommy was Buck’s Tommy and I thought it was funny because it was such a common name, so it likely wasn’t the case and they went and did it, anyway. Not gonna speculate too much because again, I have not seen the episode yet, but I see both sides. Of course Abby was hurt and I do not agree with lying to someone to save face, but heteronormativity is a Hell of a drug and denial can be quite the suppressor. If you are closeted badly enough even to yourself, you will believe anything, so I forgive Tommy, personally. People make mistakes and they grow and change. That being said, I did also spoil the fact that he and Buck end up breaking up, but idk if Abby was the reason why, yet, because it looks like Tommy dumped Buck, not the other way around. I’m very sad to see them end like this, because while I expected more out of their relationship, I did genuinely like them together. I have heard that we will not see Lou back, so this break-up is sadly probably for good. I had no idea Lou and his family were getting death threats, but sadly I am not surprised. Good Lord, what is wrong with you people?!?! Get a life. Or at least a therapist, like fuck. Awful that this is how he has to leave the show. Disgusting. Grow the fuck up, I swear to God. And to everyone saying; “Yay, now we can get Buddie!” I ship it, too, and even if it does end up happening, it wasn’t worth it, given what happened from psycho fans to get us there.
@@markporter9075it's not that Tommy is gay that provoked the threats, it's that Buck was with Tommy instead of Eddie. It was a shipping war thing. Absolutely ridiculous.
Honestly it makes sense to me and I get Tommy's concerns. But as logical as Tommy thinks he is, his decision was mostly fear-based. It's unfortunate and it's very realistic.
Well there was a scene in a previous season where Maddie, Chimney, Buck and Josh are playing poker, and the conversation includes Maddie telling Josh she would never set him up with Buck because she likes him too much, LOL.
SPOILER: This scene made me a little angry, it felt like Buck did not have the right to feel scared and HAD to understand Tommy's choices in the past, and not care about him feeling scared that he will break his heart when Tommy did break his heart in the end of the episode and clearly showed that Tommy was his Abby. I just hope that the whole " do you love him" implied that Buck was feeling those things about Eddie. Which is weird, bc in this scene he was not able to reply almost at all, about him loving Tommy but he did ask him to move in with him, except this is like the Taylor situation. The whole break up, even though i did want them to split up, was so OUT OF NOWHERE, like, we barely even seen their relationship, they went from " we passionately kiss" to " we broke up in 1 minute''. Like we get it, it was ship baiting in order for Buck to learn to be in a relationship with men, just like he learn to be with a relationship with women, with Abby, but at least we got to see some of their relationship, but with Tommy, we only saw one episode where he was acting like his dad and then the episode where they broke up?? Why the writer does not write Buck' stories well??And Eddie's too, which is a shame bc all the other characters have very beautiful romances and are power couples, but with Eddie and Buck, the one time they are soooo in love with their partner and the next episode they broke up off screen, if not for ridiculous reasons. I ship Buddie, but that does not mean i like what im seeing in the series about their love lives, if they do not end up together, which it will feel to be to be soo queer baiting, ( and im straight, so its not personal) it will all seem like their love interests are just not important and are just there for the drama, while the other protagonists love interests are better, why the writer is so unfair with Eddie and Buck? Also, this goes for 7 years, like i get the whole slow burn romance, but in order to understand if Buddie will be a thing or not in the end, a canon thing with them actually being involved in a romantic relationship and for it to not be a joke, we need to see more. We cannot just speculate " Ah was that a hint? Was it? Or not?", we need to actually hear it and see the characters saying it. I will support the show, but im just afraid that it was all queer baiting, for the fans of Buddie to watch the show. This episode gave me some hope, but im still not sure. When are we going to be sure??

Josh is a Judging Jackass. His speech is bias as using the old proverb. “Every current generation believes themselves morally superior than the previous one and smarter than next one.” I don’t like Josh he loves to stick it to others when they challenge his view even a little. Like with Maddie and Gloria until Maddie really pushed the issue he didn’t even consider Gloria of non-professional 9-1-1 calls. Or when May was being harassed by claudette he took Claudette’s side just because he worked with her and just thought she had a big personality. Josh loves to “put the standard” on new or younger people that they are wrong or inexperienced and need to “be taught a lesson”. And what is odd is Buck is like 32-33 now I believe. It’s not like he is 18-22 now his teen years were in the 2000s when being gay was only starting to be more acceptable to US society. So Josh’s speech falls short that Buck might have come out as Bi in a post glee world. But he still grew up in the pre-glee world as a teenager and young adult. And I am tired of everyone saying what Buck feels is always secondary to someone else. Sometimes he comes first.
I need y'all to take a second and realize how dumb this speech actually is im begging. Glee was not stonewall and trying to make Tommy out as "brave" for what he did to Abby is hella messed up...
i don’t think he’s intending that exact subject, but more so trying to explain its concepts to someone like Buck, who only recently came out of the closet. He might have a tough time understanding or grasping being out years prior to a world that accepted an individual, and how even now that might affect them. i think it’s more of a syntactical thing apposed to ACTUALLY saying he was brave( and right) What Tommy did was wrong, and i don’t think he’s dismissing that, but more so trying to display it in a concept that Buck would grasp.
@MackChubs but they totally DID dismiss what Tommy did. They dismissed so much of his behavior; he was canonically really shitty to 3 of the main characters and they never addressed most of it and totally swept this Abby situation under the rug as "pre-glee" like it took place in the 60s/70s or something. Strung Abby along FOR TWO YEARS and broke her heart, never apologized for it and moved on but im supposed to say "oh he was gay it's cool"? I'm gay and understand comphet theory but this could have been handled better...
i change my mind. that speech is actually really good in the context that buck NEEDS to hear that. And it goes beyond this current predicament buck is in. He needs that.
I don't get people pushing for Eddie and Buck to be together, they will just get mad went the writers causes a problem in their relationship as if no other couples have never had any issues. I will find that annoying to see it. It would be similar if not worse, like when Tim Minnear was ( last name spelling? Head writer? I forget his title) bombarded with angry messages when, he tried to share a scene that was cut from 9-1-1 Lone Star, and they complained, and he clearly regretted sharing the clip. It seems like he will ever do it again. I think if that moment happens maybe he will think it's not worth it.
Maddie and Buck are so annoying. This conversation could have been done over the phone or waited til their shift was over but ofc the conversation had to be in eavesdropping distance of the fairy gossiper. Ok I'm sorry I called him the fairy gossiper but you have to admit in all this shows and movies certain people are stereotyped. The fairy gossiper who gossip too much. The one black friend dying in a show or movie while the last woman standing kills the killer. I could go on but nothing comes to mind right now. I'm just over it.😢
Ok I said in another comment that I thanked Tommy for making Buck realize that he was Bi and that he could get out, so Buddie could happen now I'm angry because he didn't need to break poor Buck's heart like that 🥲😠

If a literal cat 🐈 could have grown suspicious as an adult.
That assumption is so asinine.
What the hell was the point of this, then? 🤧
For Ryan to gloat about the impact one of his projects made.
joshhhhh
i'm sorry but that speech was a damn fool...who wrote that?
Is Jennifer love hewitt ever dated Tama tonga?
Sometimes he comes first.
buck figured his sexuality just now, so is like he is a baby in that depertament, doesnt matter that he is in his 30'
Exactly he was justifying some BS
Maybe his character is simply being written as a complex, not-always-wrong, not-always-right human being?
Is Jennifer love hewitt ever worked with madelyn?
I don't like that speech.... umm
i change my mind. that speech is actually really good in the context that buck NEEDS to hear that. And it goes beyond this current predicament buck is in. He needs that.
I really don’t want to see Buck & Eddie together why Eddie can’t get another girlfriend?🤔🤔🤔
L take

At this point it would just annoy me after the long wait and uncertainty
I don't get people pushing for Eddie and Buck to be together, they will just get mad went the writers causes a problem in their relationship as if no other couples have never had any issues. I will find that annoying to see it. It would be similar if not worse, like when Tim Minnear was ( last name spelling? Head writer? I forget his title) bombarded with angry messages when, he tried to share a scene that was cut from 9-1-1 Lone Star, and they complained, and he clearly regretted sharing the clip. It seems like he will ever do it again. I think if that moment happens maybe he will think it's not worth it.
I agree I want them to have a great brotherly/friendly close relationship but not getting together.
I'm just over it.😢
Actually i think this is just a ryan murphy stereotype, the equality speech. Above all else i think that's seriously what this is, to be honest
Ok I said in another comment that I thanked Tommy for making Buck realize that he was Bi and that he could get out, so Buddie could happen now I'm angry because he didn't need to break poor Buck's heart like that 🥲😠
I could see Buck with Josh. They communicate well!
