So much of what I see rapidly emerging requires ecological and eco infill in communities. Renewables and large infrastructure depend on a global supply chain that is under immense assault. The nature of a warmer climate is antagonistic to long term and large scale projects like global supply chains. It renders them economically insolvent. The direction of economic development towards economic integration and homogenization is unfit for purpose. Investment in local self sufficiency must prevail to ensure survival before all else, then mutual trade with neighbors.
