As someone who studied music and knows plenty of musicians, I can tell you that there are countless brain-meltingly good musicians out there, most of whom live and die in total obscurity. Being good doesn't mean being famous.
It was completely staged. And wasn't convincing at all. The first minute he just harasses people and then she walks up and is like - Here I am! Just like we planned!
She was absolutely powerful. I would find it hard to believe that a few record labels wouldn't be trying to hunt her down. She did the gig on a spontaneous whim. She hit the notes, she carried the notes. And appeared to do it effortlessly.
You're overestimating her singing. It was lovely, but very far from being polished. Maybe if she tried to go on AM/AGT but it's very unlikely that a record label is going to try to "hunt her down" on this performance alone.

And those who welcome us to do that and hold a platform for creativity are so great. All of those shadow artists out there thrive from experiences like these or gave turning around points. This singing experience with him and those fireworks afterward was a sign for her, without a doubt.
i get chills at the fact that this man just KNOWS everyone will feel so good after, he just keeps encouraging and believes SO MUCH that they will have fun if they say yes, they push their comfort zone. he believes in what he does SO MUCH it's inspiring. and so inspiring when people decide to just jump in, to give it a go.
