As long as you are not from India, USA is fine for studying and then PR. For India, there is a 10+ year wait for employment based (EB2 & EB3) green cards and the queue is getting longer each year. Eagle Act of 2022 was introduced trying to change the current immigration law, but it is going nowhere. International students with F-1 visas are not allowed to work off-campus unless it is for CPT (curricular practical training) and OPT (optional practical training).

@@majetyprashanth1590 This is the reason why so many Indian students are studying in Canada. If they study 2 years in a Designated Learning Institute (DLI), they will be granted with 3 years of post-graduate work permit (PGWP). PGWP is an open work permit. They can work for any employer anywhere in Canada. After working 1 year, they can apply Express Entry and/or PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). If their CRS scores are higher than the minimum set by IRCC during a draw, they will get invitation to apply (ITA) for PR. Canada gives 1 year of physical presence for student and pre-PR working days. Thus, after 2-yr of PR, they can apply for Canadian citizenship.
Students are allowed to work 20 hours a week on- or off-campus while studying; and fulltime during scheduled breaks.
After becoming Canadian, if they studied and work in 1 of 63 occupations (such as engineer, registered nurse, accountant, hotel manager, and computer systems analyst), they can work in USA with TN-1 visa. Under USMCA agreement, TN-1 is a 3-yr non-immigration visa and can be obtained in USA-Canada border or airport for $60. TN-1 can be renewed as many times as required. Hence, you can have both US and Canadian job markets opening for you. Choose major carefully in Canada to qualify for TN-1 visa.

@@majetyprashanth1590 Agree. Canada has only 40 million people. You need to be PR focus (vs. student visa focus). Canadian job market is hot in tech and health care. Avoid going to Ontario and Quebec (French).
Do not study general business. So many Indians study management, only the ones with good communication skills and/or graduate from well known universities will get hired.

@@Philosophy824 Most americans get jobs after completing bachelors. Few go on to graduate school. Some work for a few years then decide to go to Graduate school. Some go to graduate school part time if they can get their employers to pay for it (MBA's usually).
The majority (greater than 50%) of students in graduate programs are still Indian and chinese. Universities and colleges love getting international students because they don't qualify for grants / loans and end up paying full price for the programs. Essentially subsidizing the cost for other students.
