Detail List: www.yudij.com/study-in-usa-guide
This is a general list, bring according to your needs!
Watch the entire video so you understand the quantity and what not to bring.
For medicines I highly recommend to bring doctor’s prescription, if there is ongoing treatment, homeopathy, ayurvedic, long term medicines, etc.
You will get almost everything in U.S. So, try to get stuffs that are not available in US. Those stuffs goes into suitcase first ( Indian Spices, your mom’s recipe books, pressure cooker, ..). So, the idea is to create the list of items and assign priority to that. Pack items into suitcase accordingly.
Tie a colorful ribbon on the suitcase handle. It will be much easier to identify your suitcase in the baggage claim area.
If you do bring Hair Oil or Pickles then make sure to pack it in a airtight tupperware, since they will literally throw your bags and if oils gets out then all your stuff is wasted!

Heads up-if you’re coming to a city like Atlanta, we have lots of Indian grocery stores, including large ones! We even have a mini Indian shopping mall: Global Mall, just northeast of the perimeter.
Check the map before you leave if you’re low on space. Things like roti pins and such are in every Indian grocery.
Note that this comes from a white lady, not Indian. But I have many Indian friends and we make Indian food at home, so I’m very familiar with the stores.
Prices will be higher here, so prioritize bringing more expensive items.
Your video came just on time since I will be flying to the US next week on a f1 visa. Thank you 😊

Amazing video. Really helpful as I will be travelling to USA next month. Thanks a lot BRO
I am flying to NY from Singapore as a student in my age of 46. Please believe me. Officer never judge your age; but your intention and ingenuity. Before interview, you should stay relaxed and be Confident. Then answer the question what officer asks very simply and brilliantly. This process may takes 60 sec. But this 60 sec are very crucial, which you should decide to divert the result to approve or refuse..
I am 36 year old .at&t company sponsor me so I get ready for interview in ambassy for h1b visa

Thank you bhai. 15 December Inshallah my flight
Waited one year to watch this video! Its about time
Nice informative video as usually you do. Few more information like student who is under medication, must bring the medicines for 1 or 2 years. What about winter season dress ? One should carry from home or purchase after reaching there.
This was great! Well I saw the whole video, that Cheepiyo, though :P. Although what you wrote at the end was covered by the thumbnail of your videos, so maybe do something about it in the next video! I got the gesture though! Thank you!
Oh no! I will fix that
Straight up heat bro...!! 🔥🔥
Your mom, you should bring your mom so that she cooks.
Don’t treat your mom as your cook !!! 😡
@@anureinn Its probably because he'll miss his moms home cooked food, doesn't mean he treats her like a cook buddy.
@@thegoldenraptor , will take that positively
@@anureinn he is prolly joking bro. it's fine
you better learn cooking from her and make her proud :)

I have purchased the list of medicines on the list given in the description , is there any thing to declare for those medicines or is there a need for prescription . I am on H1b travelling to mexico then to US. I only brought basic medicines and bandaids etc.
Much needed video bhai........ Ek number
Thanks bhai! Share karo
@@YudiJ sure bruh
You listed almost all the spices used in kitchen, but didn't mention about learning how to cook. But then I suppose, we would either learn to swim or drown.
Thank u so much for so much effort into this video! I can relate you as my brother 🤗♥️
It seems more like a elder brother explaining his younger brother 😅#Thankuyudi #Yudisquad
Where to keep oil bottles. How many can keep
Thanks Yudi for making this video in detail. Its surprising that people in California dont use handkerchiefs. Isnt it hot n humid in California n dont they sweat??
Yeah but you get paper towel every where and it’s dry heat not humid
can we shop for some of the clothing items there.... instead of buying/taking all from here in India? Is it worth it/affordable?
In europe people do use handkerchief. I guess people here in Europe are much more conscious about the environment than people in USA. Anyways Yudi try to use handkerchief rather than using paper towels.
Please bring soap, DEODORANT and toothpaste and be sure to use them.
Jira and raw rice are not be allowed to be carried to USA. (Based on my personal experience)
Is carrying portable iron/steamer machine recommended?
Hey YudiJ thanks for the all information...I am not into cooking so is it advisable to bring utensils and spieces?
Some yes, unless you will always eat outside
Hey just an addition to tge list: water bottle, umbrella wt sandals, & also stapler wt stapler pins. I've heard these things r costly in US.
You will get all for free in college events!
@@YudiJ thanks for d reply.
Best
5 pairs of spectacles would not be wise decision because the prescription tends to change after about a year (depends on the person of course). 2 or 3 pairs should be fine
That’s true! I want to emphasize to bring extra haha
@@YudiJ Thanks for bringing it up.
