Happy Birthday, parkrun! Thank you everyone at parkrun for all you've done to help us get our exercise in and helping us make new friends. You're changed our lives for the better!
Inane, jittery reporting start to finish, both in the studio and in the park; I loved Paul Sinton-Hewitt's and Ray Coward's gentle, soothing tones, both of which soothed the pace and hysteria of the studio hyper-babble.
@@EdiDrums Totally agree! The whole tone has a trivialising & dumbing down quality: 'It's just running around in a park, really, in a bit more of an organised way.' No, it really isn't. Why not let the experts answer because that says nothing about the diversity of the experience/courses/purpose etc.
Accelerated talking speed >> accelerated summing up >> accelerated delivery of pseudo wit >> shortened attention span >> ultimately, the accelerated digging of the grave of conventionally streamed television. Good bye and good luck!
Running and park runs have really helped with my mental health. Absolutely love it!

Trying to get some of my mates into Parkrun. It's a good social thing and much better than a hangover.

Hi everyone
'Having coffee afterwards defeats the purpose of the run' - eh?
