@Brandon Bevill The concept is just the story of Lord of the Flies mixed with The Pied Piper of Hamelin (Der Rattenfänger von Hameln, an old German story). Even the towns have similar names "Hameln (Hamelin in English" - "West Ham/New Ham." Absolutely nothing original about the plot or concept, other than it's a modern day setting.
i NEVER rewatch anything but i watched this thrice
The one thing that I found kind of comical was the fact that we're supposed to believe that 5 school buses full of teenagers slept through a rockslide during a field trip..Plus not one of them was aware that the buses had in fact turned back around and had taken them "Supposedly" back home..I guess we can also toss around the scenario that the kids had been drugged or that the buses could have been converted into gas chambers when needed..This storyline is out there that's for sure and I cannot wait to see where it takes us during season 2..

This show is so good, i never expected myself rooting for socialism
Classifived potato Years of propaganda and admittedly dictators have distorted the meaning of the word. Even in the show it’s a bit off. Communal eating, changing jobs so the worst one doesn’t just remain for one person to do, all have elements of socialism, but decisions are supposed to be made democratically, and not through a representative but directly by the people. Also the food isn’t supposed to be controlled by so called police, instead food is free for the taking based on peoples need.
