He did not say, "give up on them". He said leave them alone. Stop trying to convince people. We give them the Word and the Holy spirit does the convicting. However, our prayers will do the spiritual warfare to help their heart prepare to yield to God. Your prayers are like water for the planted seed on hard ground. Stop talking so much and let God deal with them. Love them as they are but never stop praying and fasting for them.

@Classyt20f7: God has not called us to go at it alone. The Holy Spirit is your friend and His job is to help you live this christian life. In this walk with Jesus we learn as we go. He is faithful to forgive us when we fall short and start over again. However, the thought that God does not want you is a mental stronghold, a lie from satan that you believed. Unless you deliberately reject this thought you will continue to feel defeated. I've been there. One thing that helped was to watch Rev. CHARLES STANLEY'S sermons. I learned biblical truths that helped me change the way I think. God does not quit on us. He loves us all the time. Blessings.

My first deliverance was when a few smoking friends and I were studying the Bible while smoking and we came across 1 Cor 3:17 and all of us threw away our cigarettes when all of us realized we were the temple of God. No withdrawal symptoms. We weren't desperate, just eager. Of course your fervent desire to get closer to God can be like desperation. You can be desperate for God.

My mother use to be a witch befor she found the lord. But when she was a witch she was sure it was the right thing to be and everyone else was wrong. Aka Christians. So she encouraged not forced but encouraged me to open up my 3rd eye, work on charakas and to make a long story short I've always seen ghosts but after that my experience intensified. After coming into the truth I was working on my relationship with God. And it gotten worse. I felt crazy I was being tortured I felt like . Just imagine a scary movie but without sound effects . That was my life. To black figures in the closet to shadows following me while outside and figures standing behind me while I showered. I couldnt take it ik I couldnt live like that. I prayed for a dog that would follow me so I can feel safe. Then I got one that did just that. Never left my side . And although I had him I still couldnt take being scared 24/7. I was desperate. I dropped to my knees and cried and prayed like never b4 and they where gone. Thank you lord.

TJ Bayus So true. My wife is divorcing me because she doesn't want to live a Godly marriage. Shes addicted to legal synthetic drugs (after an opioid addiction) and is in full rebellion against God, and thus me. I've been kind, caring but firm and she's hardened her heart more so unfortunately I have to let her go.

Never give up on anyone, you might have to withdraw from giving advice to them for your own peace of mind, but hold the individual up in prayer consistly no matter what it looks like. God is able; He's still a miracle worker, demon slayer if anyone can do he can. I speak from what I know not what I heard. I had two brother I never thought would get saved. God did it!

Amanda Lo the Holy Ghost might guide you differently with different people. Every case is different. Yes we are to love even our enemies but we many times have to walk away from evil people. We do not know what is inside the heart. Many times we don't even know nor understand our own hearts.

All of our answers to all of our problems has always been in the bible , and I must say by all mean if you don't have a Bible with the Apocrypha in it , may I suggest that you go buy one , because the book of Ecclesiasticus ( apocrypha) is full of wisdom > who to call a friend- why you should not tell your busy to everyone, how sneaky or wicked people operate around you and behind your back ... ect , the list goes on ! a must have book :-)

Reading the Bible is fine, but meditation is a higher form of prayer and union to God, mediation on his Life, Passion, and Glory in Heaven. This type of meditation raises the soul closer to God in union than does reading scripture, which of course is good also for meditation; read a passage, or read the passion, then proceed to meditate for half an hour on what you have read, without reading.

3 years praying for a hopeless drug addict, or so it seemed. My prayers were answered a month ago as he has received the Lord Jesus Christ in his life and wants to live for God now. God's in the business of saving the hopeless. Never stop praying.

yes i had this about exactly one hour or less. I tried to convince my brother by the word of God and The Holy Spirit. But after a long time i noticed no change at all. I senced a blockage. But a spiritual blockage. I dont have to talk no more. The Holy spirit does the rest. I pray for him. Spiritual warfare is next. But i also realised eventhough i love my family. I'm not looking back. Amen! So grateful to hear this message today. Struggling for years with a brother who is lost and living out of God’s will. This message has me thinking I can finally be at peace praying for him w/o continuing to actively witness to him. My sister and I feel a huge burden to lead him to Christ, but he’s never given his actions a second thought. He has shown no remorse or no interest whatsoever in the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m tired of feeling as though I will be held responsible for not doing enough to lead him to Christ. It has been terribly frustrating this is going on over 10 years now. I’m so over it!!!

There's only one thing we can do to people unwilling to change. Prayer.
As a rule,we must pray for others. The living and the dead. It's our Christian duty. It is one of the spiritual works of mercy . In other words,it is our obligation. We must pray for the conversion of sinners. Our lady of Fatima's message. Prayer, penance, sacrifice.

It's true. If Jesus wants you to intercede you'll know. Sometimes it seems that some people are in love with their pain, and you realize when you try to help, they don't want help- they want attention. When someone wants help they listen, they make changes.
No one can come to the father unless the spirit of GOD draws them.
That's why people who have intercessors are blessed. That even if those people don't wanna change, somebody out there isn't giving up on them. If you're spiritually strong, you can go that far for people.
I had been praying for years for God to deliver me from something. He recently revealed to me that my life wasn’t matching up with what the Bible was calling me to and that is why I was not being delivered.

THIS is so very solidly TRUE. Get THIS settled between you and God, and release this issue to the Lord, they are His, they are NOT yours. You are not "dropping them into hell" if you leave them alone.
Put them in His Hands. You don't have that Power in and of yourself, so if you cannot let Him Flow in their situation, don't make things worse for them. HE is the One Who draws them to Himself.

I sure wish I'd learnd about this when i was younger!!! My mom was christian but influenced me in bad advice. Telling me God wanted me to stay in a very abusive alcoholic marriage. Yes adulterers also. This confused my own young life... and gave devil foothold to my own falling away. Struggling to get back to JESUS. Don't throw pearls to swine. It was destructive to me and my CHILDREN. She picked his nice personality over his true character. It seems she was blind. It took me years to understand I was right to want to end it and not be confused. I've had to work to forgive. And to heal. And to not live in intire regret. Of to little to late. I had not very much morale support. Please parents be carful how you guide. Please young. Learn the Bible for yourselves!!!

Amen!! I’m a believer, I’ve been married 30 years to an abuser and sex addict.
He goes to church, calls himself a Christian and reads the Bible. He has most people fooled.
I didn’t think Christians should divorce, so I’ve stayed.
As I’ve sought God daily, He’s opening my eyes and releasing me from this harmful marriage. We have 9 children.
The divorce proceedings have started and he’s getting quite nasty. He’s unrepentant and keeps pointing the finger at me and blaming me. It’s very difficult and very sad.
I kept so much to myself thinking it was the kind submissive thing to do.
I’ve been a housewife for 30 years. I’ve loved being at home and available to my family.
Life will be very different but I’m trusting God, he’s my dearest friend, my protector, my deliverer.

His friend, who now isn't his friend anymore, warned me that he was with a lot of women and his own family helped his ex wife who was married w him for 30 years, to get rid of him. It was a sociopath, a wolve. I warned that elder, but I shouldn't gossip and not be so unforgiving, so bye, good luck w that guy there. I went to another church. That pastor had kicked him out of his church.

This is so true, just like Jesus told His disciples, "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under thier feet and turn again and rend you". We have only so many words and only a limited amount of time every day, so it is important to conserve them so they can be used on someone that the Lord draws to you. Satan is a master at wasting our time and energy, so we must always ask the Holy Spirit for discernment concerning this important matter. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit, Satan cannot control us, but he can do his best at trying to keep us from being useful for the Lord and advancing the kingdom of God by leading other people to Christ. If someone's heart is hardened, we cannot do anything to change that. Just shake the dust off of our feet, and keep moving. God told Jeremiah to quit wasting his time by praying for these wicked and stiffnecked people. Always pray for discernment, my brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless you all.☺🐑

I pray that I can find just one group of people in my town that are not stiff necked and rebellious. I am tired of going to church. I have more fun going to town, talking to the store clerks, shoppers, homeless, etc, than I do going to church where everyone is spiritually cruel. I am tired of dealing with spiritually abusive people/pastors.

All I get in response is a nod and mockery. I offer them to the Lord, help them to desperately seek You and enable others to help them. Lord thank you for guiding me, I am at peace now. Help me channelize my energy according to thy Will. Amen

Jesus came in to my life like a miracle....more than two decades of my life IAM a hardcore worshipper of idols and believed the idols are god and I had real time in hell with all the suffering...my emotional trauma was in peak went in to deep damn depression and concluded that there is no god exists and wanna end up my life ... Rite at that moment Jesus entered in to my life and he changed everything ..I found him and he has given lots of happiness.... When ppl tried to talk about Jesus I ignored them I made fun of him sorry Lord for that...it's Jesus who choose ppl ..ppl can never choose God.... Here is have seen so.many get converted to Christianity from Hinduism just because of the financial problem and the missionaries help them. .but in their heart they aren't pure.... We should never waste on who pretends to sleep... Derek is right... Praise the Lord ..amen ... JESUS ❤️ CHRIST is the one and only living god amen
my relationship with our Father is Amazing.....example one day at work i was on Fire Father was sending me messages....random messages for specific people...EVERYTIME i listen to the message my Heavenly Father and voice to who He tells me too they start crying or you see thier mind blow.....and im like yes yes yes more Father more but the next day Father and I see this person go back to the same thing or act like we never talked and i look at Father in Heaven and he goes 'move on son' .....and i do ...i almost feel bad but He tells me dont waste time there are plenty more...and then he reminds me its not my job to be there with them every step of the way ...thats their job to accept Christ so He can be with them every step of the way...there are way too many people in the world to focus just on one soul for more than a couple minutes...preach the gospel move on is what im told by Father in Heaven....of course im like Father what else can i say....and now this video pops up on my home page....GLORY TO GOD THANK JESUS CHRIST for his GIFT!!!!

just now I crashed into this Atheist IG page, with thousands of followers, and checked most of his posts and boy his posts were so strong it could lead almost anyone into to antheism😔 it made me sad because then I thought " it's impossible for me to lead these people to Jesus" and trust me when it comes to leading people to God the fire of the Holy Spirit starts burning in me... but reading to what those people wrote on that page made me hopeless, sad and thought of myself as weak soldier of christ who didnt have the strength to lead those Atheists to Christ... once I realized that.. the first time ever I couldn't talk to them about Jesus cause of the way they cursed, mocked and insulted him. I was disappointed about myself for not spending time with them talking about God's love although they wouldn't care a single bit about him.... so somehow I left IG and went on YT for some reason... this video poped up 😭and this is God telling me not to waste time on people who are not willing to change BUT rather spend time on those who are.😪 now I'm enlightened and back on track again. Hallelujah praise be to God❤❤
