Caravan is such a great start for projects like this. An instant home and refuge whilst establishing your quinta. I see people from the UK coming to Portugal with a van and a caravan to get started, caravans here can be bought for just a few hundred pounds sterling.
@@deranocasper I haven’t made up my mind yet. I want to wait till winter to see how the watt intake is and maybe then decide to mount it flat or at an angle.
Another great video Iris, wow nice little place to live till you sort things out on your land. Jack looking well bet he's happy having all that space. Good job on the solar system. Take care both 🌷
Hello Iris nice Caravan very well equip the wood amazing and the fruits yummy organic good for a healthy breakfast your dog lovely yes great to put solar for saving good luck see you again bye
Great video... I ve always wanted to do something like that.... Get away from the city... A more quiet life more freedom etc etc. Keep up the great work 👌💪
Just a thought. Maybe putting some kind of roof or shade over your roof. It will help in the summer months for heat in your trailer. Also, helps keep the roof water tight. Otherwise, you will need to seal your roof every year against leaks. The heat shrinks the rubber or molding around your top.
@@annadaurie2435 Yes, I will have to think about a solution for summer. I have my solar panel on the roof at the moment, so I will have to figure out a solution for that.
Am loving your videos, Iris, and your positive attitude towards learning how to install difficult things yourself - and your solutions! Grapes: not sure if those are both table and wine fruit but the vines are very happy and they look sumptuous. Figs: never seen golden figs before from Portugal, though I was going suggest they were the Da Ponte de Quarteira - a Portuguese - variety, until I saw the flesh in yours is pale. Even if not quite ripe the Da Ponte would've had an orange-reddish flesh colour. So it's probably one of the Breba varieties, especially after your description of the flavour. What a delicious, fresh breakfast!
Hi Iris, that is a nice caravan, the interior does have something nice in his own classic beauty. And you are right, not believing how nice those grapes are so you might have to send some over. Great job on the solar set up. Still really curious what came in place of the Caddy :)) Have a great week!!! Cheers Bert 🙏🏻❤
