HOT WHEELS custom: Recreating

I've recreated Matt Pollard and his dad Andy's Mazda MX-5, as featured on the ‪@AutoalexCars‬ channel. It was fixed up by Alex and friends, with a car show called Mattwood organised in Matt and his family's benefit. Matt was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at the age of 19 and the car community rallied behind them.
After teasing my Phil custom on Instagram, I noticed that Matt had begun following me. I recognised his name and immediately offered to recreate his MX-5. As there are several differences to Alex's modified MX-5 Phil, I chose a different Hot Wheels model to base Matt's car on. This utilised an older 1990s Hot Wheels car that didn't have the roll cage, flared arches, and other cast features in order for me to create the most realistic match that I could.
